I see Schaefer and Haymon taking advantage of HBO's great need of fighters. No problem. Give them rejects like Andrade and make them fight TBAs.

They're not going to offer Thurman vs Spence types of fights.

Lonesome Bob WILL be doing business with Haymon in the not too distant future. Bank on it...

Back against the wall gives you motivation sometimes I guess lol.

They definitely can use some new blood because let's face it. Their current stable of fighters as well as their talent roster is very weak and they are desperate to stay around and remain relevant.

Moreover, Al Haymon's PBC in association with Showtime championship boxing is where it's at the moment. They have damned neared monopolized the entire sport on the U.S. Television market.

Besides Al Haymon holds all the cards. He currently has the deepest talent roster in the sport.

Now it looks like after several years of bashing the PBC in general and Al Haymon in particular; Jim Lampley will be forced to kiss Al Haymon's ass after all.

So the moral of the story goes, the same toes you step on today may be the same ass you have to kiss tomorrow.

They need to either change everything and fire (pretty much) everyone or just cancel boxing full stop. They're beyond dreadful and a lot of things need to change.

                    That's just ****** nonsense.
                    HBO would survive without Haymon.
They just had the biggest TV series hit in the world.
98% of their customers subscribe not because of boxing.
Besides, PBC is broke. Most of their fighters are now fighting once/year.
                    He needs HBO badly.

As a boxing fans why would I be against that? It it not about them it is about their FIGHTERS! I like what Richard Schaefer and David Haye are doing in a very short Period of Time. They have put together a solid roster together so far with some stand out Prospects. Tony Yoka, Money Powell IV, Joe Joyce, The Balderas Brothers and a few more.

As for Haymon roster it speaks for itself he has a Ton Of Talent not as active as they should be because of a Lack of Network Deal for PBC basically. Showtime can't show everybody so they need to work out another deal with Fox/Fox Sports or yeah maybe Out-Source some fighters to other Networks and Promoters

Boxing was great when Networks would BID on fights instead of this Exclusive BS! Like with Joshua vs Pulev recently when all bidded for that fight!
