I find it interesting that when PBC and HBO split, Bob Arum swooped in and took up all the dates, he leaves and PBC is on their way back in. At the end of the day HBO has dates and money and need someone to fill them up. PBC has a lot of fighters that frankly don't fight enough, so I like it.
Rumor: Richard Shaeffer and Al Haymon returning to HBO?

With Arum's exodus to ESPN, Kovalev's destruction @ the hands of Andre Ward, Ward's retirement, the Triple Cheese Burger's imminent demise and the inconsequential GBP having only one guy of note - should this really be a surprise? HBO is waving the white flag. It should be obvious at this point that Haymon runs boxing.Comment

^ This...they've been broken down and have no choice but to start negotiations. What else can they do?With Arum's exodus to ESPN, Kovalev's destruction @ the hands of Andre Ward, Ward's retirement, the Triple Cheese Burger's imminent demise and the inconsequential GBP having only one guy of note - should this really be a surprise? I don't like Oscar but he was a good friend to Shaeffer and trusted him and Shaeffer took advantage of that trust to cheat his friend and stab him in the back. Shaeffer is a real snake in my book. I doubt Shaeffer is a boxing expert. I don't think he ever threw a punch in his life. He once said Khan had the best chin in boxing. He is just a greedy nerd and a good but dishonest business man. Haymon clearly knows boxing and is a good business man and just as greedy as Shaeffer. He seems to be the manager or adviser of a few hundred boxers. How much time and attention can he give to his boxers when he manages so many?Comment
