Hopkins beat Taylor Both Times! Do you agree ?

No I don't agree. he lost both fights to Taylor. The first fight was not even close. Hopkins didn't win a round in the first 8 rounds.

The second fight was closer, still Hopkins lost 7 rounds to 5.

Naw, I think Taylor won both by a very narrow margin. 1st fight was the closer of the two. I agree Hopkins landed the more effective shots in the first fight, and had Taylor hurt. That being said, you still need to score the fight on a round by round basis......7 rounds to five in favor of Taylor in my book.

Hopkins did not fight for the first 7 rounds of each fight, how can you win a fight that you dont even fight half of the rounds???

I like Hopkins a little more then Taylor but I think Taylor won IMO. Hopkins started too late and like somebody said above he didn't win enough rounds IMO to win the fight.

1st was close i could go for a win for hop or a draw ...2nd Taylor was more in control and Hop never had his big late rounds like in the first so Taylor wins the 2nd 4 sure

Hopkins ABSOLOUTLEY won the 1st fight. I`ve watched it 4 or 5 times now and there is no way Taylor won. The second one I actually thought could`ve gone either way. I was actually expecting Micheal Buffer to say it was a draw.

You could make a case (though not a really strong one) that Hopkins won the frst fight. You cannot do the same for the second.

Personally, I can't stand when people throw around the term "robbery" when it comes to fights like these two.
Both fights ******.....lacking action. It's a lot like when people got all overheated by that piece of garbage fight between DeLaHoya & Whitaker- A fight that ****** too much to get worked up over, & having too little to choose bewteen the two fighters.
