So now you put him on VADA, right? ... because Wilder has the WBC ... and turn him into a shell of himself, by both aging him before you fought him and taking him off the PEDs ... then when you beat him, you can act like you beat a monster, when really you only beat the 20th best heavyweight in the world by the time you factor his age and the lack of PEDs into the equation. Just more smoke and mirrors bull**** in boxing, using the fact most fans don't know follow the details like VADA testing or even age as a way to fool them, and manufacture credit for a "top win" for yourself without actually having to risk facing a prime, top opponent.

Same **** Floyd, Ward, and many of the other top North American boxers of this generation have been doing for years, sadly. When did North American boxing become like this? It used to be the best, with tons of true champions. What happened?

So no, this isn't Jake Lamotta stuff. DiBella should be ashamed to pimp Lamotta's name like that the day after he died. Boo this man.
    Man you're sad

It's the way it's supposed to be. Let's not praise people for doing what they're meant to.
Came to say exactly this. I mean what AJ did in his 19th pro fight was pretty impressive, its taken 39 fights for Wilder to be in his first big fight that is the crazy thing.

Are you serious? Fury ran from Wilder to fight Wlad? "old man Wlad" was unbeaten in 9 years when Fury beat him while Wilder was on his bum of the month tour, that version of Wlad would've killed Wilder and I mean he really coulda killed him which is why Wilder never showed any ambition to fight him he was scared for his life.

AJ has been avoiding Wilder hahaha, when AJ-Wlad fought Wilder was their calling out cruiserweight Tony Bellew!! If he had any balls he woulda got in the ring after the fight and called out AJ, instead he was trying to get a fight with a little cruiserweight. That sums his career up.

Like GGG and Danny Jacobs, this is the fight BOTH of these boxers need, money be forgotten. There is a fairly large Cash cow out there named Anthony Joshua who is now in a position to pick and choose who he wants to fight. Want that fight? Earn it. This is that fight.

Ortiz is a legit one punch KO artist who is slow but is technically sound. Wilder is athletic, active one punch KO artist that is technically flawed. Wilder attacks, Ortiz dares you to and counter punches.

Love the match up. Joshua (much like Canelo Alvarez in my analogy) will not duck either of these two but will only risk it when it makes sense. So... make a great fight like this one and force it to make sense.

Joshua fought Wlad, then mandatories, what are you on about. Provided they both win out they'll fight eventually. It's better if they both improve their resumes a bit first before they fight too.(Ortiz&Pulev are better than 99%of their joint competition so far) if one of them beats Parker/Fury before then it can be for all the marbles too. (Probably Joshua because that's where the money is)

Fair play to Wilder though, if he beats Ortiz and at least one other decent fighter (Miller maybe) then as long as they step up his promotion the big unification could really deliver.

I'm sure if Ortiz tests positive in pre fight testsing he'll refuse this fight too

Lol, Wilder made it clear he was gonna unify with Wlad after they each took care of their mandatories. But Povetkin tested positive and Wlad had a twelf round staredown with Fury and lost.

Wilder immediately set his sights on the winner of that fight, Fury, but we all know what happened to him. Now he wants the guy who almost killed Wlad, but Joshua won't even say his name out loud.
