No. GGG is a VERY small MW who could make lightweight while Canelo is 6' 4" and walks around 215 lbs. But some reason make 154 on a CALIBRATED scale for Liam.
Every pic I've seen during the tour GGG was much bigger doe.
Ohh and since last year GGG got SUPER old. Oscar and Canelo planned this year's ago. They said September 2017 GGG WILL POOF turn 55. And even though the fight was made BEFORE Jacobs they traveled to the future saw him look ok and then traveled back.Last edited by Shadoww702; 09-09-2017, 08:45 AM.Comment

Its not a lie because saying Bernard started at a different weight class does not change anything I said. I never said Bernard started as a middleweight.Comment

In my honest opinion, Quillin is very good. He has talent and some skill. He's been in their with good middleweights (Andy Lee and Hassan N'Dam) and more than held his own. I just don't think he was ever a great fighter. He has his flaws and was exposed a bit by Andy Lee.Comment

What does the Marquez opinion have to do with purse bids? Bottom line, if Mayweather Promotions wins the purse bid over K2 and GBP, they wouldn't have to pay either fighter ANYTHING but the purse money they bid. All revenue above the purse would be Mayweather Promotions to keep. That included ppv revenue, gate revenue, sponsorship revenue, etc. A promoter doesn't win a purse bid and then negotiate with the fighters how much EXTRA they are gonna pay them.
Maybe in theory all the money above the purse goes to the promoter but in reality if you want these superstars to fight they are going to get their share of the PPV. Purse bid or no do you honestly think Mayweather would fight in a PPV fight if he wasn't getting a significant cut of the PPV? Without Mayweather or in this case Canelo the PPV would tank. They are the ones bringing the customers to the box office and they are going to get their cut if the fight is going to happen.Comment

Quillin hasn't fought since December 2015. I think we should reserve judgement until we see him again.

Jacobs is a B/B+ fighter he does a lot of things great but has one flaw that keeps him from being an A class fighter. His chin.
Canelo and GGG are both A class fighters who do almost everything great and have very minor flaws. Canelo doesn't have the best stamina but enough to make it 12 rounds multiple times. His 1,2 foot work is great but past that he's not so good.
GGG rarely goes past round 8 and is never rushed if he does so I'm looking forward to seeing his stamina if Canelo and him are in an intense, action packed fight in the late rounds. Plus I'm looking forward to seeing both their body punches as both have one of the best body blows in the game. And both have flattened boxers with it...Comment

He certainly did use movement to limit GGG. If he would have used his jab more he probably would have won.Comment

He lost rounds he was winning when he engaged GGG for a few seconds and got the worse of the exchanges. His corner was even yelling at him for it. I counted like 2-3 rounds at least. GGG basically stole those rounds from him.Comment

Yeah we might need to study & analyze Jacobs further cause before Golovkin , Quillin was Jacob's biggest win , cause he got KO'd by Pirog and an old light punching smaller guy in Mora floored him bad, besides that who can you really say was world class in Jacob's resume?Comment

I have never posted in any thread or at any time that Canelo comes in at 185 pounds. I don't know what you are thinking. I'm saying Canelo tried to get G to fight him at under the midddeweight limit for Golovkins belts.Comment
