Is Ward really P4P #1?

I am looking at this through the eyes of Ring Magazine. Considering Oscar owns the magazine and if Canelo should win, I say he is P4P #1 before year's end.

To question GGG's win over Jacobs you have to question Ward's first win over Kovalev which was an obvious robbery. His rematch win was dirty as hell. Prior to Kovalev he was fighting no-hopers in his last few fights. All things considered, I would say either GGG or Canelo have earned the top spot based upon the outcome of their fight.

I don't even know where to start with this post.

The Ring magazine has zero credibility, hence why anyone genuine boxing fan uses the TBRB rankings.

I scored the Ward Kovalev fight to Ward and the Jacobs vs GGG fight to Jacobs, two completely different fights and in no way comparable, the second fight of Kovalev and Ward had Ward picking up exactly where he left off in the first fight, he had Kovalev figured out and looking for a way out of the ring, the referee picked up on it as did everyone else who has not a biased outlook on the fight.

still trying to spin that one even though it was disproven? he said no so fast because it was a joke. look at the details. ward wanted a 50-50 split even though roc nation subsidizes ward and gives him millions on top of the official purse so in reality ward wanted millions more than ggg who was more popular than him uhhh and he wanted for ggg to delay his wbc mandatory shot and fight him instead next year when the wbc said they were going to order the fight against cotto/canelo. that doesnt sound like ward wanted to fight to me. wanting to fight is hey you are available and im available lets fight now! why dont you ever question ward for not wanting to fight ggg right away? if you want to fight someone you dont offer them a fight next year when you know they are busy wtf is that? also ward already turned down the fight when they were both available so we have our answer to who really wanted to fight and who as playing publicity games.

Stop trolling. For one thing, I never predicted a winner of Canelo/GGG. It's a 50/50 fight. For another, DLH owns ring magazine and promotes Canelo, so if Canelo wins you can bet your EBT card that he ranks #1 P4P before the year is over.

Boxingscene, ring magazine, espn are not a credible source. lil g is wack & nelo is okay but not a P4P top dog. Andre "S.O.G." Ward put a spanking on your boy kovalev, has been unbeaten since he was 14, won titles in multiple divisions & cleaned out the super-six. All that other talk shows your true side. Oh, & lil g ran from Ward! LMAO!

I know they probably didn't teach you how to read in prison Larry (your gay magazine stash doesn't count), but I said the winner of Canelo/GGG likely earns the #1 spot, which is not a far-reaching conclusion when you consider De La Hoya owns Ring Magazine.

Ward is listed as the #1 P4P fighter in the sport right now, and I'm not sure why. His resume looks impressive, but several of his wins should have asterisks next to them.

Dawson: Ward fought a weight-drained Dawson, rather than move up to LHW to fight him.

Kovalev: Won a debatable decision in the first fight, and fouled numerous times in the second one.

Kessler: Headbutted a lot in this fight.

Rigo and Loma are better boxers than Ward, even Kovalev outboxed him for the majority of the rounds. Ward is overhyped/overrated. He's one of the best in the world no doubt. The thing with him, he does a little flashy stuff here and there against overmatched opponents and people assume he's a master boxer.

you somehow scored both fights where the guy who landed more punches and who landed the much cleaner punches deserved to lose hmmmm but you arent biased ok.

how did he have kovalev figured out? check most scorecards. they had kovalev up when he was low blow ko'd.

the referree stopped the fight on clear lowblows. do we have to post the pics again? you arent biased but you think fights should be stopped on lowblows becaues the guy was complaining about lowblows.....hmm ok. what did you expect him to do?
