    Ward is number 1 p4p, I think he's a great fighter...and a decent guy too!

He is, there's really nobody else you can make a case for without sounding biased. GGG, Lomachenko, and Crawford all lack the resume compared to Ward.

Ward is definitely #1 right now. What more does the man have to do to convince people? He basically murdered the boogeyman of the division and moved up to do so.

Dawson: Ward fought a weight-drained Dawson, rather than move up to LHW to fight him.

Kovalev: Won a debatable decision in the first fight, and fouled numerous times in the second one.

Kessler: Headbutted a lot in this fight.
I really dont get it man, first he was scared to fight Kov. Then he fights him and beats him, very very close fight Ill admit but then he comes back and TKO's the boogeyman whom everyone had at #2 p4p, now his status is questioned? I guess this is what happens when you are that good. Ward is and should be UNDISPUTED p4p#1

Nope, he is not. In fact I don't even see how people can watch him foul his way through the tough opponents, and then throw praises at him.

            Should make a poll.

                  True words. He's P4P NO1 for sure.

How anyone can even try to debate that he's NOT number one in the world right now in boxing just amazes me. I can't stand the hate against some specific/particular boxers sometimes. It's depressing.

You cannot name me an active fighter with a better resume than him right now. With WINS all of those big fights.

If you can, only then will you have the right to even ARGUE if he's number one right now p4p.

Regardless of if you like him or not.

But since people get hung up on it, I'll bite.

There's no standout, obvious #1 fighter at the moment. Ward deserves the vote as much as anyone. There are no "asterisks" in boxing. (I sometimes wish there were.)
Couldn't have said it better. There is no standout in P4P right now. I have Ward a soft number 1. Could easily switch to Golovkin if he destroys Canelo, and at best he'll be a soft number 1. Have no problem with some of the lower guys being P4P number one.
