Also, no there was talk before that. Around 2005/2006. It just became more mainstream when Floyd said it.
    Provide evidence please.

We can find evidence of the 2009 talk but where is the 2005/2006 allegations?

This is a good way of putting it. He was a great fighter that was defined by his rivalry with an ATG in Pacquiao. Similar to Frazier's estimation of his fights with Ali, Marquez thinks he's undefeated against Pacquiao.

well, most felt pac won the first one too. so if you're going by what "most felt" then pac beat marquez the first time so yeah way before floyd fought marquez.

Ok, so going off what most felt it was 1-1 then not 2 wins, so I was right.

Also, I think most felt Marquez won fight I or that it was a fair draw. I think Pacquaio winning was in the minority outside his own fan base.

His body transformation and head size from when he lost his flyweight title to when he was fighting at 130 beating up an old Morales.

"Most" people didn't thought MArquez won in the second fight. It was actually 50/50 that could have gone either way. At 32 website, 15-15 scored it for PAcquiao and MArquez and 2 had it a draw. But manny dominated at the polls.

which still proves you wrong that pac fought and beat marquez first before floyd started the peds accusation.

Annnnnnnnd that's the reality of his claims ladies and gentlemen.

His own observation with no evidence. So the "talk" in 2005/2006 as you put it was really you talking to yourself because no one else was saying it.

I'll take the lack of evidence as conclusive.

So the reality is 2009 was when the talk was happening and that was after Manny was a household name and had beaten first ballot hof fighters.

I think your knowledge of boxing is about equivalent to a door knob. You know when you make such a blog it makes you look very dense

Along with the victory over MAB it's safe to say Marquez will go down as a great champion just not an elite one. Had he beaten Manny with no allegations and certainly not lost to John and Bradley then he reaches elite level with the others of this era Manny, Floyd, Hopkins and Wlad. Personally I'd like to see JMM come back for 2 more fights against Bradley and Manny if he wins both clean then his legacy is greatly enhanced. The problem is wear and tear of all his wars have destroyed his body so it's probably time for him to call it a day. Great fighter one of the best of the last 20 years he just came up short of being elite imo.
