Had he beaten Manny with no allegations and certainly not lost to John and Bradley then he reaches elite level with the others of this era Manny, Floyd, Hopkins and Wlad. Personally I'd like to see JMM come back for 2 more fights against Bradley and Manny if he wins both clean then his legacy is greatly enhanced. The problem is wear and tear of all his wars have destroyed his body so it's probably time for him to call it a day. Great fighter one of the best of the last 20 years he just came up short of being elite imo.
This forum has way too many dumb ****'s like you.

he's not elite even if he beat manny in their prime with no peds. not hating on marquez, just stating facts. he was lucky to be matched with manny and got lucky that manny got so big.
without pac, marquez would just be like any other regular boxers out there. when people talk about marquez, they bring up pacman only, take manny out and what does marquez have?
