  • You guys saying Mayweather ducked "prime" Cotto are killing me with this, The Bobfather AND Evangelista Cotto were both quoted as saying that he wasn't ready. Bob was actually going to make the fight at one point but they both agreed after seeing what Mayweather did to Gatti that he needed several more fights before he would be ready. Then after Floyd left Cotto was viewed as Bob's new cash cow so do you really think he was just going to let his new money guy get beat by the guy who just left him? Of course not. He's known for keeping all fights in house.

As for De La Hoya, the dude was coming off an impressive win at 154 and came into the ring about 20lbs heavier. Floyd fought him when he was still good, and if you think him or Mosley would've beaten Floyd earlier on in their careers you are straight tripping. Shane avoided Floyd in 2000 and 2006 he knew he would've got beat then as well. The fight with DLH wasn't even close, and if he really thought he was better Oscar would've done the rematch. He didn't want it. Not at all.

Bottom line - Floyd beat Oscar, took his title of the PPV King then beat the guys who beat him (Mosley, Pacquiao) then beat his young up and coming guys. Now he's making more money per fight than nearly all these other "greats" made in their whole careers. So this explains why they are so jealous of him.

Which is understandable when you consider all those things, but Oscar still needs to shut up. He sounds like a bitter child who needs his dummy back.

    Ok i'm done now.

      • Lol at people saying Floyd trying to fight the 2003 version of Cotto vs the 2008 version of Cotto is ok.

That's like Wlad trying to fight the 2013 version of Joshua as opposed to the 2017 version of Joshua. Day and night

You're counting the Pac loss in 2008? Really? The man was dehydrated and over the hill. Roach himself said he saw the IV tracks.

He was robbed in the 2nd Mosley fight as was the Trinidad fight. DLH chased greatness by fighting Hopkins, something Mayweather would never consider. We couldn't even get Floyd to fight Paul WIlliams let alone Hopkins. And What about all the big fights DLH won? I gave you a whole list.

You said Oscar was never the best in the world, but I showed you P4P and division rankings over the span of 8 years that said otherwise.

Show me some sources of DLH ducking Azumah or Lopez. Don't just say it, prove it.
Of course I'm counting the Pacman he lost. That wasn't meant to be a passing of the torch fight. He thought he would cruise to an easy victory and set up a rematch with Floyd. That backfired in his face and he got his ass whooped and quit against a man he dragged up from featherweight. It was blatant cherry pick that blew up in his face big time. Of course he made all kinds of excuses afterward but it was all bull****. He cherry picked Manny, got his ass kicked. Simple as that.

And sure, give the nod in the second Shane fight. Doesn't matter. But we then have to acknowledge he got a gift decision over Winky so it's a wash. And lol at Oscar being robbed in the Tito fight. Bro, the "fearless warrior" ran for four rounds! He deserved to lose.

Don King offered Arum the Azumah and they wanted nothing to do with him, Oscar was "too green" at the time. They fought Jimmy Bredhal instead. Here is Lopez calling out Oscar:

Why didn't they fight? Didn't Oscar fight everyone in his path? The truth is Oscar wanted nothing to do with Lopez because the man was stylistically a nightmare for him.

Ok so you don't acknowledge roach saying DLH had tracks in his arms?

How did Oscar get a gift decision over Winky when they never fought?

Did DLH say he didn't want to fight Lopez because he wanted to fight someone better than Lopez?

Going off your criteria of ducking, Mayweather ducked Amir Khan, Paul Williams, Golovkin at 154, Muhammed Abdulaev, Margarito, Keith Thurman, etc.

And 😁😁 at saying Floyd wanted to fight Shane in 2000. They were several weight classes a part. What are you talking about?

            • Oscar, you mean to tell me you sacrificed your golden goose Canelo to ggg just to get mex holiday & Floyd stole the golden eggs here? Is that why you're mad?

I meant Whitaker. On my mobile and trying to multitask. Cut me some slack man.

And I don't care about Oscar's excuses. He cherry picked Manny and it backfired. That hurts his legacy. It was worst than choosing Jeff Horn as a showcase opponent and losing to him instead.

And Shane ducked Floyd for a decade. "My tooth ache". "I need to spend time with my family". Shane was terrified of PBF

The difference is that unlike Mosley, Whitaker is considered a top 5 of all time in certain categories....like.....one of the best southpaws and jabbers of all time. Where does Mosley rank on all time in any category? Especially over Whitaker!! According to you dudes, beating Mosley is a greater thing than DLH over Whitaker. Shit you guys even go crazy over Gatti .

I would agree that it was a great win for DLH, if I thought he actually won

I had it a 1 point fight, you could easily argue neither guy deserved to win. Whitaker made DLH look ****** with his defense but hardly did anything offensively. Oscar was a lot more aggressive, but very ineffective.
