The man's resume was incredible. Especially for the little amount of fights he had

3 people off the top of my head

Winky and floyd were never in the same division

Margarito was a top rank fighter. It took 5 years to make pacquaio. Arum would have never made margo-floyd after floyd left.

Floyd also negotiated with arum for a cotto and margarito fight before he left top rank. Floyd made more fighting hatton than he would have in two fights combined under arum. He then fought dlh, a better fighter than margarito.

forrest? when was there any demand for that fight? when were they in the same division? go look up what division mayweather was in when forrest was prime.

He may be more talented but I don't see Jr or Pacquiao beating a prime De La Hoya. He barely got by a 35 year old Oscar on the scorecards. If I remember right I believe Floyd Sr said he thought Oscar won.

When did Floyd leave Top Rank? 2006ish?

Oscar was already at the end and inactive. If we're being fair, Floyd was always too small and they were always a part in weight.

Regardless of circumstances, Oscar was at the end of his career; that's just a fact.

There are other guys Floyd could've faced in their prime that was in the same generation that he didn't. Some of those guys he opted to retire for.

Mayweather was fighting JLC in his first fights at 135 when mosley was fighting forrest.

Apparently numb nuts over there thinks its a knock on floyds resume because he didnt move directly from 130 to 147 to fight vernon forrest.

If youre a noob on this board, atleast go look up chit before you make dumb statements.

Im sure DLH needs to do a line every time he thinks about all those punches he missed with Mayweather right in front of him
A past his prime Oscar, only one fight away from a vicious KO by BHop, out jabbed a prime Floyd for the first 6 rounds and barely lost a SD. smh

Floyd Sr along with many others. I didn't watch the fight live, but watched it the next day. I thought DLH won myself

It took me at least 4 times of watching the fight to sway back to FMJ because I wasnt sure how many of DLHs punches were landing. Very very close.

But then again, Floyd has 3 wins that are heavily debated

Mosley was also p4p #3 so i guess you should stay biased
