Why Stiverne vs Povetkin as an eliminator? Neither of them deserved it.

Povetkin failed a PED test ... so Wilder had to fight Arreola.

Povetkin failed another PED test ... so now Wilder has to fight Stiffern. Again.

How low was he supposed to drop in the rankings? He was the champion. He lost. He was moved down to #5. Seems pretty fair. Then Don King was smart and waited for others to lose and pursue other titles so Stiverne could work his way back up.

Had Fury & Glazkov not chosen other belts over the WBC, it could have taken Stiverne five years to get his rematch this way, but King played things well and Fury & Glazkov choosing the WBO & IBF sped up the process.





WBC did everything by the book. Not their fault Povetkin cheated twice.

Trying to show a fighter who is boss when the fighter is in the right is how you wind up bankrupt. WBC learned their lesson on that one.

Understood but my point is i like organisatiosn enforcing the rules AKA Canelo/GGG in regards to the belt. At the sametime their rankings isn't spot on.

Rubio was the interim WBC world champion. GGG beat him in a unification fight. GGG was the mandatory by means of being interim champion, not by being the #1 contender. very different situation. the four orgs do not rank the champs of the other orgs. the WBC did not rank GGG. he won a unification fight.

Doesn't matter if Rubio was the interim champ, The moment GGG decided to fight him, the interim belt should have been made void IF GGG wins.

They (WBC) cannot have it both ways, that was shaddy as phuck.

Wow. Am not one to defend any organisation, and the WBC would be the last organisation i would defend. How they ranked someone like Ortiz lesser than those in the top 5 is beyond me.

And the excuse after Ortiz being an interim champ with another organisation doesn't wash with me, If so then GGG should have never got the interim belt from Rubio as he held 2 belts from different orgs.
