Call me crazy but a guy who's been retired for 2 years coming back at a division just above his normal one isn't too far fetched

Jr. is not knocking this guy out, i can promise you that.
his mindset will change as soon as that first punch lands. it's not that easy and im not even trying to defend floyd here.

when ggg fought brook, he walked through a few punches but then tighten up his defense after that because im guessing he's starting to feel those punches.

and i can see floyd stopping conor from a body shot or a ref stoppage. conor has zero boxing experience and will NOT know what to do when he's hurt.

look at the diaz fight, when nate started landing punches conor panic and went for the take down, that's nate's strongest weapon (ground game). I see conor doing the same mistake against floyd if he's hurt.

              yeah, that's all i thought.

Floyd knows he beats McGregor at any weight so why spend time and effort getting down to 147 after 2 years out.

He can just spend the camp sharpening his skills and getting in fighting shape.

I'd have thought 154 suits McGregor more than Floyd. Floyd could easily make 147 if he wanted and make Conor come down to that weight.

People saying Floyd is going to go for a KO are just boxing internet nerds aka "hardcore boxing fans"...
And just how many of your boxing predictions were accurate this year, if I may ask?

He doesn't have a "little GGG in him". He can't box at all. He's a good striker in MMA because he's weird as hell and there are so many styles/variables in an MMA fight that it catches his opponents off guard.

Boxing is a "figured out" sport. It won't work. He's just going to trip on himself while a bunch of ******s in the audience go cray cray cuz Money whoopin dat Russian ass (they will think Ireland is in Russia).

I agree. Anyway, i think Floyd's straight right hands and counters must have something on them because it seems to make good fighters become gun shy. I'm not saying he's heavy handed but i think it's the accuracy and how sharp the shots are that start making fighters think twice. Floyd isn't Malignaggi, he still has enough power to get respect and nobody needs to be taking those shots all night while getting tired.

Also, you would have to say that your average boxer must **** harder than your average UFC guy, even with the small gloves when you consider the pure technique of a boxer. I'd bet not many UFC guys have been hit flush with true punching technique in a real situation. Some UFC guy was saying it on Youtube, i can't remember his name, he was a fighter. He was saying Conor might end up surprised by Floyd's power, it might not seem much to another boxer, but to an MMA guy that has never been hit by guys who have been only punching all their life, it's different. Also, you can look at it that Floyd has also been hit by punchers with far better punching technique than McGregor. The shots that are putting UFC guys down might not have the same effect on a guy that is used to being hit by actual boxers that can punch.
