I didn't say he could make 140. I'm saying by the rules it was possible.Floyd can make 140 now?
I don't even think Floyd would want to make 147 actually... and a catch weight would kill the fight as a huge underdog is at a disadvantage.
The only option was 147 with 10 Oz. gloves and Floyd is a little heavier these days himself and at 40 trying to make weight might lead to another Pacquiao-esque IV the night before... remember that?
So you agree Mayweather didn't make it at 154 for the glove size.Comment

Wtf is this leprechaun talking about..there are rules in the UFC. And if Floyd would of fought him at 147 we already know what the excuse would be.Comment

Not saying i think that, but based on some of the comments from Connor and his team they clearly think that.not sure why people always think like this LOL. it's not that easy and yes, it hurts. at this level, every one punches hard. some might pack a heavier punch than others BUT every one punches hard. why do people keep thinking he'll just walk through the punches, etc?
Plus if you watch Connor in UFC he has a little GGG in him where he will take some shots to deliver his own. Different sport but I think he will go in with that mindset.
Jr. is not knocking this guy out, i can promise you that.Comment

Mayweather is going to stop Conor here, Conor is going to do over 400 rounds in sparring to try and get his stamina up, the only problem is when you are missing shots, given angles by your opponents and getting countered with shots then you are in the ball park of getting stopped.Comment

Why do you care what he does with his money? And you're whole post screams tough guy behind a computer screen. Mctapout was running all night when he was getting tagged by Floyd. It's just everytime a European fighter comes along y'all swear they invincible lol.I think its a joke of a fight but i would imagine Connor will go in with no fear of taking Floy's shots. He has taken flush shots from UFC fighters with small gloves. Getting hit with boxing gloves, much less 10 oz pillow gloves should not affect him.
My biggest question is now he will handle Floyd's constant holding, will he get frustrated like Jr. wants him to or can he keep his cool to try and stick to his gameplan.
In the end it will be a UD for Floyd, hopefully he cashes the check and pays his damn taxes this time.Comment

I would say him getting knocked out is the most likely outcome. McGregor hasn't got the best stamina, 36 mins will be longer than he's ever been and he's going to get hit more than he's ever been. Not saying i think that, but based on some of the comments from Connor and his team they clearly think that.

Maybe Floyd can't do 147lbs anymore because he is 40. And if he would have set 147lbs, Conor might complain that Floyd is trying to drain him...Comment
