Roy Jones is the most gifted fighter in history. He had it all...reflexes, hand speed, power, flare and boxing iq. He was unbeatable in his prime. That said, the question wasn't who was more invincible in their prime, it was who is the greater fighter. Mayweather never lost and is one of the greatest defensive fighters in history. You have to take their records into consideration and while Roy's losses occurred while he was past his prime, they still happened. I have to go with Floyd.

As bad as Floyd was, why has he never unified and been undisputed champ of a division?

Roy had like 10 belts at the same time at 175, went up to Heavy and got another while being undisputed light heavy champ

          Makes no sense.

Mosley was top 3 P4P and #1 in his division.

Cotto was #1 in his division

          And Marquez was #2 P4P

Lacy and Tito were unranked in their division and not in the top 100 P4P

Roy wasn't undisputied of any weight class.

And Floyd has been unfied champion he had 3 of the 4 belts at Welteright just two years ago.

              Roy was the following:

World Boxing Federation World light heavyweight title
              WBC World light heavyweight title
              IBF World light heavyweight title
WBA Super World light heavyweight title
International Boxing Organization World light heavyweight title
              International Boxing Association

              How was Roy not undisputed?

What belt did Dariusz Michalczewski have??

                That's how Roy wasn't undisputed.

I've always said Shane was coming off the biggest win if his career when he fought Floyd. But if we're being serious, Shane was way past his prime. Has Shane even won a boxing match after Margarito? That should let you know how last it he was.

Cotto, suprisingly, has shown some resilience. Cotto in his prime was 2008. When I compared tito, Lacy, Cotto, etc, I was talking about a group of past prime fighters. If you want to pull of rankings and validate who was more past prime based off rankings, go ahead. But if we're being honest, Cotto arguably lost to Clottey, was beaten to a pulp by Pac, almost killed by Marg... He did ok against Trout. But point is is Cotto, even as high ranked as he was wasn't the same fighter from 2008.

I never said anything about Marquez being past prime. I was talking about DLH

Do you see WBO in that list? No

You could argue WBO wasn't legit then but that's another story.

I said Floyd had 3 of the 4 belts at WW because you said he wasn't unified champion. And he's been unified at other weights too.
