Good f#cking luck with that murderers row of kinda sorta dipsh^ts. TR was the deepest stable HBO was down with. But yea whats HBO supposed to say: Peter Nelson was quoted as saying "oh sh^t, oh sh^t, oh sh^t" or something?

Sh^t is looking bleaker by the year at HBO. And if RN folds & TR picks up Ward as is the rumor that effs up HBO's roster just a lil more.
Feel like we are getting closer to a future where Nelson closes out his days at HBO as the VP of Sports exclusively exec. producing sports docs.

Lol, just 1 in long line of morons to ruin boxing on HBO. Tonight's Bounce show better than most of crap HBO puts on nowadays. Such a shame, one-time #1 Boxing Network now on life-support. Long gone are glory days of Holmes, Tyson, Bowe, and Lewis. Today's HBO fights are no different than what ESPN Friday Night Fights used to be. Virtually same quality. Embarrassing!

Well, Nelson is sending a big FUCK YOU to Arum. At least Arum's fights will be on ESPN and not on HBO PPV. Good for us fans.
If I were HBO, I wouldn't pay much at all for Pac-Horn, Loma-Marriaga, or Oscar Valdez against a no hoper. Mismatches. Arum deserves it. Let him pay some from his pocket.
If he matched Loma-Valdez, Pac-Crawford, etc., HBO would be interested in a second.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 07-01-2017, 12:11 AM.

Who does HBO even have left? I'm talking viable stars. Canelo, obviously. He's a big one. Golovkin though is what, 35? 36? Then who? Ward is arguably (probably) the pound for pound #1 in the sport but it's pretty widely known that he isn't a draw by any stretch of the imagination. Kovalev can still be a nice headliner but you gotta think a lot of the shine is off him now.
This is the worst spot I've seen HBO in since I've followed the sport.
Lomachenko & Crawford were two of their most heavily promoted attractions. Crawford was/is doing very solid when it comes to drawing and Lomachenko was finally starting to pick up some serious steam.
