No disrespect to Roy Jones Jr. but he didn't face any fighter as good as Canelo or GGG at 160.

I beg to differ. For one, Canelo Alvarez hasn't even fought at 160 yet. He fought at 164. Golovkin has fought 3 champions: Geale, Ouma and Jacobs. Don't ever compare him to prime Hopkins.

There were several guys that RJJ beat at 160 that were much more proven at 160 than Canelo.

He beat Hopkins a good 10 years before his prime. So in reality it'd be more like someone who's beat just Lemieux.

And you say Hopkins wasn't in his prime because of what? Do you even know? Because he lost to prime RJJ? How do you quantify what Hopkins prime was?

Anything beyond that is ridiculous though, he didn't beat anyone at 175 on the level of Ward or Kovalev.

Roy didn't fight all the best throughout each weight class through his career.

Guys that he could have fought but didn't are McClellan, Benn, Calzaghe, Eubank, Julian Jackson, Michael Nunn and there are others.

Calzaghe wasn't around when Prime RJJ was putting in work.

Julian Jackson wasn't around when Prime RJJ was putting in work. Roy had already went up in weight by the time Jackson was making a name for himself.

Jones didn't fight Nunn because he was busy fighting the guy that KO'd Nunn. James Toney.
