You are right and the same for the Kovalev fans (the Kova'Lovas), imagine all the BS they will say if Ward was at the place of Kovalev

It's Ward: Low Blows, Headbutts, Billy Goats and Elbows

What did they expect. Ward is an American gold medalist who is fighting in Nevada. Ward came into that fight well aware as soon as he started to get hit often he'd start tagging Kov below the belt. He knew what he was doing.

        Everyone knows.

Watch what the same people who say those were legal say when someone like GGG or he'll even McGregor land a low blow. If GGG lands a low blow on Canelo orbanother fighter, watch.

Poor Kathy Duva, from bad to worst!
Main Events & Team Kovalev were all smiling when they heard that "inactive" super middleweight king Andre Ward wanted to fight Kovaleva, then break out the champagne when the contract was signed, but since the end of the first fight they dream fight/easy money fight turned into a nightmare! and it's from bad to worst since! 1. Don't overestimate yourself (but seems like they needed that wake up call) 2. NEVER underestimate a proved great champion with the mental strength of Andre Ward!

Some people into the Kova team need some weed I believe...

Hey russians! some reggae? Hahahaha, and only for you I have a scoop... Burning Spear is the daddy of Britney...

If the belt line was not considered low because of how high Kovalevs trunks were, which punch not considering the last punch was low?

What I saw was a fighter who was not used to being in trouble in a fight panic after two legal body blows and bend over at the waist for relief from the punches (noting that he was bent over before the third and final body blow landed).

Being unpleasant is a determinant of how inclined you are to learn new ways of hurting people? That's an interesting angle.

Andre Ward stopped Sergey Kovalev. Read it back if you have to.
In the second round, Ward hit Kovalev on the belt of his trunks and was told to keep his punches up by Weeks. By the 8th round, Week's definition of a low blow had changed, and it had become ok for Ward to hit Kovalev on the belt, Krusher didn't know that though.

He didn't know that Weeks had changed his mind about what a low blow was, and that Ward was now allowed to hit him, not only on the belt line, but also below the belt in the groin. So when he was hit by what he thought was a low blow, he reacted to it, to let Weeks know he'd been hurt by what he belived was a foul blow.

I've boxed competitively, so I know how that works .. if you're hurt by a legit body shot, you try your best to hide it and act as if you didn't feel anything.
If you're hurt by what you believe to be a low blow, you don't try to hide it, because you want to make sure the ref doesn't allow it to happen again.

A fighter who doubles over after being hit by what he believes to be a low blow is not quitting. Only a couch potato fan who has no idea what the sport is about would view reacting to a percieved foul as quitting.

After being punched in the nuts, Kovalev went down and looked at Weeks. He was obviously waiting for Weeks to do something about it. Krusher was already in trouble from a head head shot when Ward hit him low. Again, and this should be obvious to any knowledgable fan .. if a fighter who is hurt and hanging on for the end of the round gets hit by a foul blow, he is going to view that as a chance to get himself a break and regroup. That's what Kovalev was doing.

                Again ..

Why did Weeks take no action on a blatent low blow that happened right in front of his eyes?

There are so many things wrong with bullshit explanation by Weeks, I'm not even going to bother responding to it. Weeks showed bias and favouritism to the home fighter, and the whole world saw it. End of story.

I'm calling b.s. on your description of the 2nd round low blow. It was below the belt and not on the belt. Video proves that (watched it just now). There should have been no confusion nor were. Just the weak attempts to get points deducted and or rest by reacting as if the blows were low.

Where in boxing do you get to assume a defenseless position if you assume that a foul is gonna get called. I have seen several low blow fouls and never have I seen what Kovalev did during that fight.

Btw...if the fight ended due to the last low blow, since it wasn't intentional Wars would have won by majority decision. The only other option would be a up to 5 minute recovery? So you really think that would have been enough for Kovalev to regain enough steam to survive 3 more rounds?

Correction: Kovalev did complain about punches to the belt which the instructions deemed legal. He even points to his belt line during the complaint.

What you're missing is the fact that she is admitting that Stevenson never ducked Kovalev and that it was them that avoided the fight.
