floyd went as far as saying he waited the little guy out until they were the clear a side and their camp could dictate everything...manny fought wars, got kod...lost leverage, and had to cave in to every floyd whim over the years...
it was about leverage...
They weren't equal draws and I have never denied Floyd was flexing his power in negotiations.
He said that or is that the meaning you attached to what he said?
Manny didn't fight wars and lose leverage, he fought JMM again and lost leverage because he made a tactical error during the fight.

Manny did struggle with JMM, which is why he and his team didn't want to fight Floyd. JMM got a draw and arguably won the next 2 fights despite being slower and smaller, by using his boxing ability.
Floyd was bigger and as fast, if not faster than Manny, had a 5 in reach advantage, more power, athleticism, ring IQ and is a far superior boxing skill than JMM. it's a bad matchup on paper for Manny and I dont see what is unfair about me saying that.

how did he struggle with marquez? care to explain? manny struggle with marquez that's why his team didnt want him to fight floyd so they kept making him fight the one guy that he "struggle" with? LOL. nothing is unfair about what you said about floyd being bigger, longer reach, etc. the only thing i called you out on is you saying pac fought marquez different than how he fought floyd. which is completely false!

I think losing like he did could cause less to watch. i think thats what has happened post Floyd/Manny-he isn't anywhere near the draw he was. So much so that Bob is taking him on a "world tour" to fight lesser named guys.

Floyd's fights are the most watched and sell tickets at the highest prices. Boxers who fans say are "more exciting" (ex Tito, Manny) sell less than Floyd when in with similar opponents (ODH, shane, Hatton). How else can you fairly quantify if people enjoy his fights or not?
Highly skilled fighters have never been bad for the sport. In fact, the highest skilled fighters have always driven the sport and its popularity, not the fighters you label "exciting".
You also can't say people feel cheated for going to or buying a floyd fight because again the volume of repeat purchasers indicates otherwise.
I think what could be the case, respectfully, is that you value "action" over skill and think everyone does. While we all would want every fight to be Gatti/ward or Ali/Frazier 1, that doesn't mean people do not like Floyd fights.
But re ppv, he has a massive fan base. Fans just want to see someone win.
