manny didnt turn it down. floyd asked for random blood test, manny asked for a cut off. that's why its called negotiating. but you know this already.

sugar ray wasn't scared of hearn's power either, and he had every reason to be...

he didn't have outragious clauses in the contract that would make hearns say "I'm cool on you ray"...

manny aint go for the ko because floyd wasnt lighting him up like what marquez did.
No that isn't what I mean. I will explain.

What you and other Manny fans will never concede is there is a significant gap between Floyd and JMM.

Manny, who is faster and has about the same reach as JMM, and is stronger and hits harder, can afford to fight JMM the way he did.

Fighting Floyd, who is bigger, stronger, smarter, faster, more athletic and better than JMM in every way, the same way would be suicide. SO Roach had a completely different gameplan.

If guys like you and others could look at this as boxing fans instead of pure Manny fans, you'd get this.

Of course he had clauses. Ray always did. Just no internet so you didn't know.

By the way, i notice you haven't (unless I missed it) taken anything away from SRL for beating Hagler even though that fight was 5 years late.

Yes and Manny never agreed to a cutoff until well after negotiations ended.

Why is it so hard for you and djtmal and others to see this? You all say Floyd always fights the same way. SO a younger, faster, better in every way Floyd fights a younger, faster, better in every way Manny in 2009. Floyd nullifies his offense and wins the same way, unless Manny is reckless like he was in the JMM fight, and gets caught because Floyd, as you have said, fights the same defensive style.

Humor me-what happens to Manny and his earning power if he loses the same way in 2009 he did in 2015?

The fakest injury in the history of boxing was so fake it was cured by saltwater. No version of Pacquaio would have ever beaten Floyd at any weight.

Give it up. Outside of 2 fans on this site no one believes that injury was real.

Didnt you guys say pac fights differently against counter puncher?? So now pac fought floyd different than how he fought marquez??? Didnt you guys say when manny fight a counter puncher like marquez then his punch stats dropped?? Lol so now you're flipping it saying he fought floyd different than how he fought marquez?? Lol. The only difference is marquez fought manny while floyd didnt. Marquez didnt wanna get robbed so he push the pace to get a ko of his own while floyd didnt.

Yes, in the same way Jose Mourinhos boring 1-0 victories where he shuts down games after his teams score is bad for football.

Fans never like sportspeople who are overly conservative - unless they support that team/athlete

I get he has a big fan base but he's boring. Sorry. Especially as most people watch boxing to see fighters show heart, balls and take a punch - not hide from them. That leaves peoole feeling cheated and that, tho he wins fair and square and with massive amounts of skill, he doesn't really deserve or at least do justice to the victory.
