    Can't believe they got you.

We all knew this Chavez fight was a farce from the beginning. Just an all Mexico fight they could sell with a "warriors" aura to make money. I mean they already had a fight signed in the GGG fight for after this one with an announcement. Goes to show you how much of a "fight" they thought this Chavez match was going to be.

It went pretty much as I expected, one of the worse match-ups in PPV history.

The part that made it intriguing is the fact that Jr SHOULD HAVE been able to give us a decent fight.

No one is saying he would win, but he clearly has some physical tools that are there to use against Canelo.

      He didn't use them.

He didn't seem to try very hard to use them.

      He really didn't do shyt.

And that is sad for him and bad for boxing.

It is the reason why human coxfighting is fast overtaking boxing as this country's preferred combat sport.

The only good thing you can say about Jr is that being drained sounds like a more plausible excuse than a magically injured shoulder...

no its not fixed. a fixed fight would be to buy out the judges on the scorecard. you cannot rig a fight to have a fighter lose. who's gonna take that deal?

jr knows how important this fight is to the name he is carrying, to his country. etc. why would jr take $3mil just to throw away the fight when he could potentially become the next big star if he was to win?

he barely threw because look at the weight they fought at. who knows what jr had to go thru in training to get down to that weight. he prolly went thru hell and back.

Whole thing reminded me of that joke Quentin Taratino told in Desperado about the dude pissing all over the bar and the barman being happy about it. Things wouldnt be running so smoothly if the Canelo/Golovkin fight wasnt announced, Boxnation guys were looking for blood, but everything got forgotten about.

Yep. The GGG-Canelo announcement has kept everybody from really laying into this fight like they should. I'm happy the fight got made but I feel like they charged $70 for a fight announcement.

And Canelo standing between rounds like a sparring session. He knew this was a sparring session. He knew this was a joke and charged us $70 for it. He got over good. I respect the hustle and can't blame nobody but myself

If you're a casual fan and you don't know the history of the GGG-Canelo fight and Chavez Jr career, then this would look fishy to you. This is the first Canelo fight since Floyd that a lot of people threw fight parties and made an event around the fight. A lot of people I was around who are casual fans thought this fight was a fix.

Not a good look for the sport to have people coming away thinking that. Another black eye for boxing.
Su****ious was him not attacking the body inside.
The opportunity was there all night.

That was rather odd to me.
