I didn't pay for this fight.. Thank God I'm retired and have to watch my spending. LOL I watched it on YouTube to get some insight on how a Golovkin Canelo fight would go. I didn't watch the whole thing. Like Danny Jacobs said after watching the fight "I need to get some sleep". Chavez was like a Zombie. It was completely baffling. Can't blame the weight or the game plan. He simply didn't throw or take risks. I noticed in the sparring session he had with Golovkin that he had long stretches where he didn't punch. This was the same thing only this time he got paid a lot of money.

It wasn't rigged, as nobody agrees to take the shots jr. was taking over the course of 12 rounds. GBP, like many people out there, knew it was going to be a complete mismatch, and the ggg contract was on ice with the champagne, until after the fight. No doubt it contained the stipulation that canelo had to win for it to be validated.
The whole post-fight ggg thing was wwe-esque though.

His face was beaten, you don't rig a fight like that. He was scared and misinformed from Nacho. He had a whole training camp learning how to box smart, when he should've been learning how to use his size and height and aggression. Poor choice of a trainer (for his style) coupled with him wanting to not disappoint his trainer and sticking to his gameplan.

Yeah, that's just people who have no idea how **** Chavez is, especially at this point in his career.
