"He beat Peter, Haye, Povetkin, Chagaev at their peak. Chris Byrd.
What other HW fought that many undefeated opponents"?

Who did they fight to be such notable "undefeated fighters"?

Who are they on the Boxing Heavyweight Charts? Those guys at "their peak" were ordinary talents.
Wlad gets credit from me for handling his era but just remember he was a boring performer who lost when "he stepped up". I throw out the Joshua fight just as I do Joe Louis vs Marcanio nether man was at his best.

You saw the lack of defense throughout his career and without the ability to reach out and grab and be allowed to hold he would have more KO looses in my opinion.

Quality character, cares about the game but not a highly skilled boxer by any means. Just a big strong guy who learned the basics and fought opponents who never came close to ATG's.

Good luck in retirement I hope he and his brother can help their people and country gain some rights and freedom.

What are his top 10 wins?

        Frazier beat a prime Ali

Marciano and Tyson both have Hall of famers on their resumes.

Klitschko had a long reign but who did he actually defeat?
Is that arbitrary HOF designation all that matters, regardless of context?

Wlad (and for that matter Haye, Povetkin, etc) in his prime wouldn't have beaten the old jello legs Holmes that makes up the only entry in the HOF section of Tyson's resume? That eclipses everything else?

Well, I'm with the experts on this one.

So we definitely can agree to disagree.

Anyone can claim to be an expert. And if you have the right connections, you can get a job on ESPN like the mentally unstable moron Teddy Atlas or on HBO like the annoyingly awful Max Kellerman.

But it doesn't REALLY mean anything.

Without a doubt, he is an ATG
