All oponents look weak when you have a supremely talented boxer, it's not his fault he was better than the competition. He's an ATG.

I have Wladimir as a top 6-8 ATG. He could be top 5 ATG by the time he retires.

His performance against josh showed that he was if you wasn't convinced before.
Wlad did so much better than anyone else did against josh and pushed him all the way, at 42 and 68 training camps, wear and tear on body.

If Lennox is top ten so is wlad

          He could be.

Outside of Ali, Holyfield, Lewis, Louis, Marciano, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson and Holmes, the other place is up for grabs. Liston? Wlad? Dempsey? Johnson? Who knows.

10, 11, 12, 13, you can rate him fairly in a lot of spots, imo. When people talk about him not beating anyone good, I just assume they're not that bright or too biased to pay attention to. I don't rate longevity over opponents though, or I'd have him in the top five. I'd rather have him about 10 than 5 or 15. He beat a lot of decent contenders,/titlists almost all by KO and lopsided UD. None of them were HW greats but good and very good fighters with a diversity of styles, skill sets and physical attributes.

Lefties, aggressors, counter-punchers, short and stocky, tall and awkward, outside fighters, mid-range fighters, late comers with weird moves, former Olympians with a lot of orthodox technical background. He had so many guys who could've ultimately given him the Fury-type fight where he was baffled over that period of time between losses, with so many fighters and their trainers able to study all his fights and he was still too difficult to beat for that long. It's gotta count. I'm leaning toward just at 10.

But Sports Illustrated and a host of other media and boxing media do not rate either of the Klitschko's in the Top 10.

I implore you guys to search online or Google Top 10 Heavyweights of All Time and you'll see that neither Klitschko is in the majority of the top 10 lists of all the media and boxing media members.

Most of the lists I've seen is similar to my list with maybe a few names being different here and there. But the glaring absence are the Klitschko's.

Too many greats and past greats for the Klitschko's to be in the Top 10.

Top 15, Top 20 yes, but not Top 10.
Name me atleast 10 people that should be ahead of Klitschko and I'll make you more than a solid argument why Wlad should be above atleast 3 of them.

yes & head to head he matches up pretty well against some of the old timers. would anyone seriously pick rocky/joe louis to beat him?

his resume aint great but he fought everyone he could in his era and dominated for a decade, not much more u can do than that.

Neither Klitschko will be in the top 10 lists of greatest Heavyweights and I 100% agree with Ring Magazine, Sports Illustrated, etc.....because my list is somewhat similar
Many people at Ring and Sports Illustrated have a prejudice against fighters not from the USA, especially if they are white men.

Emanuel Steward rated him among top 10 ATG HW & yes Ali, Holmes & Lennox were all above him..
& please do not start this "it was his trainer & he was biased" ****.. Anyone with a cent worth of boxing history knows Steward isn't the one to do that..
When you are head & shoulders above your competitors skill wise, ruled the division for nearly a decade, unified champ, took on all comers, has the HW champ record for facing more undefeated contenders/champs, ducked no one & won all your fights without a shadow of doubt.. If that doesn't impress you then I don't know what will..

What's the excuse for all of the other media, experts, analysts?

The Klitschko's are definitely top 15 or 20 quality.

Top 10, nah, too many greats before them.
