Ok believe whatever you want. That's fine. Danny knew 100% that there was no rematch going in. He signed under those conditions so according to your logic he's 100% responsible that it's not going to happen. So go blame him. If he would have stepped it up earlier in his career and beaten the top contenders he would have had the leverage to insist on it. But he didn't.

I saw the article before.. Yes he admitted he lost. I never disputed that. Personally I would like to see a rematch between Jacobs and Golovkin. Before the fight during the press conferences it was mentioned often that there was no rematch clause. I noticed it because it seemed to be unusual that it was mentioned by the Golovkin team numerous times. Danny knew this going into the fight. He is not actively perusing a rematch and he seems to have accepted it. Criticising Golovkin about the rematch seems unfair because Danny was fully aware going in that this was a one time fight.Last edited by Bronx2245; 04-15-2017, 08:22 AM.Comment

You already know! It's difficult to prevent your opinions about a fighter, from being influenced by their fans! GGG fans want you to say that he should be on the level with Mayweather and Pacquiao, but don't demand him to do the things that Mayweather and Pacquiao have done. Danny deserves a rematch. Canelo is acceptable, Saunders is not!Comment

Ignorant or feigning ignorance I can't tell. Ward had absolutely no choice but to rematch Kovalev. He was contractually obligated.
On press row 3/4 of the scorecards had Kovalev winning, not Ward. Press row had a majority of scorecards in favor of Golovkin, not Jacobs.
Your comparison is lame and your "certain demographic" comment seems typical of a certain mentality.Comment

Say what you want about the contract, Ward could've just left, but he's fighting and will win again. Ducky over there had the first fight with real competition and said never again. Had the opportunity for Ward right after Ward signed with Roc but passed it up to continue living on his knees begging Canelo for a shot.Comment

stop making weak excuses to defend the lame selections made by your pacifist girlfriend
if GGG was unhappy with his opponent, he would change him
if GGG was unhappy with any decision, he would change it
and if he was unhappy with his team, he would change them
blaming his team is just making weak excusesComment

nope, he 100% knew there was no rematch clause
there is nothing whatsoever preventing Golovkin from getting rid of his Jacobs problemComment
