Gstring fanbois have cosigned on his never-ending paper belt quest yet criticize anyone else,yet gigina never fighting cotto/martinez/chavez & now jacobs in favor of lemeiux/wade/billybob instead is ok. Canelo never said anything about the belts except that hes not going to be robbed of half his earnings to keep the belt but fanbois make up qoutes. I can find tons of video to prove everything Ive said,can you? I can also find espn articles that prove everything. I am like many others CLEARLY just tired of hearing gggroupies every time I read about boxing. They militantly have been trolling the web for yrs about this hypetrain derailed. I am just sick of hearing their mental gymnastics to justify this clear career cherrypicker with a huge mouth.

Team GGG think Gennady is a bigger star than he is. That's just a fact. They've allowed the fact that his small, yet extremely noisy fanbase, confuse them into thinking the base is actually large. GGG brings nothing to the table in a Canelo fight accept hardcore fight fans that didn't order Canelo's fights with Khan, Smith, and those types. And seeing how poorly fights like Ward-Kovalev and Crawford-Postol, fights hardcore fans in the past would have supported, did in terms of revenue. GGG has pretty much no leverage in negotiations. It just depends on how badly he wants the fight.

Personally, I don't think Team GGG want the Canelo fight as badly as they say. Canelo isn't nearly as big an underdog as GGG's think he is. To me, its Floyd-Manny without steroids. Manny's team were on the PR campaign to make it look like Floyd didn't want the fight. When IMO Team Manny didn't want it until there was no more money to milk from his gullible fanbase. GGG is the same way. He has a cushy HBO deal that allows him to make very good money to fight very mediocre competition. Losing to Canelo, or anyone else, puts that cushy deal in jeopardy.

The crazy thing is that GGG has forced Canelo to not only avoid 160 and fight at 155, then back to 154 and now skipping over 160 to 165.. but he has forced Canelo to play B side to Cotto and Khan and now to take another horrible split against Chavez Jr. lol.

Canelo opponents should actually be giving GGG a huge thank you for forcing Canelo to take bad deals just so he can avoid GGG at 160.

Again, it's almost impossible to debate with Canelo fans (or should I say his cult following). He made promises, broke every one of them, dropped a belt, went to 154 to fight the worst belt holder he could find, said he wasn't a real middleweight and then fights at 164.5 hahahaha.
