Let's get a few things straight.

Lil g hasn't forced Canelo to do anything.

If someone is going to be forced to do anything, it will be Canelo dictating to Lil g.

This has never been about belts or lineal titles or unified titles.

This has always been about a big fight and the money that comes with it.

When Loeffler and K2 had zero leverage, you heard all sorts of things fly out their mouths when it came to a Canelo fight: Belt or no belt, not a problem. Money, not a big problem just give us the fight. Catchweight, no problem sure we can come down to make the fight.

Then, they thought they had leverage and tried to parlay what they thought they had into a fight on relatively even terms. They thought they could depend on the threat of belts being stripped or Mexican machismo to make Canelo do something ****** and give up a boatload of money to Lil g, who really didn't rate it.

    They miscalculated and failed miserably.

And now they may wind up getting an even smaller deal than what they could have gotten had they simply come correct.

Funny thin is that now that theres actual competition at his only possible self imposed fight weight of 160. Hes running to smw AFTER cashing in vs another bum for another meaningless trinket. Now that charlo is going to become his mandatory as well as jacobs,so hell go to 168 & fight the easiest bum they can fight like eubanks w his ibo worthless trinket, then theyll say they need to get used to 168 1st,& by the time hes used to the weight hell be 38 & retire. Thats why hes the great hope

Bat sh it ****** would be to not fight Wade, lose a belt that you've worked to get, and still expect your status as mandatory to Canelo to mean anything.

I could hear you haters now. "Lil g dropped a belt not to fight Wade, but expects Canelo to honor him as a mando? GTFOH Mr 97k"

And you, like the other poster, jump on a comment without reading it's context. I wasn't talking about Canelo "resume" (outweighing his opponents, catchweights, a couple questionable decisions, and a shutout loss), I was talking about Canelo fighting for belts. That, as his resume shows, is a fact

Loeffler said flat out he received Oscar offer and has NEVER disputed the details or the amount. That's all the source you need.

Which amount, $10M or $15M? Remember, for a while it was a $10M offer, then one day, it jumped up to $15M

I have yet to see another fighter talk so much sh as va-gggina with such a career of ducking EVERYONE. Hes playing his gggroupies by acting feared so theyll keep supporting his 35 yr old cherrypicking *****ass. Every single time in his career hes had the chance to make a big fight it's always been"be b because im feared" even though they have now admitted they were lying about fighting ward at 168. This clown waited several months of negotiations to fight jacobs for 2 mil yet they forced a 10 day deadline vs canelo, proving they just wanted a free belt as usual. This clown never has problems making fights vs bums but vs big names crickets..
Lets not forget that ggg waited until age 24 to go pro right after bhop moved up in weight after owning mw for a decade, bhop moved up BECAUSE he wanted more big fights & "there wasnt comp @ mw" yet gstring waited until bhop was 51 yrs old & then offered to fight him at 168, the same weight its now confirmed he ducked ward @"based on Loeffler last statement "
Yet gggroupies claim canelos a cherrypicker.

                  this is great...truly

I almost forgot the cardinal rule on boxing boards.
'smart business decisions only matter when they apply favorably to golovkin"

when golovkin is ducking ward? smart business...theres no money in it...ward don't sell. when golovkin is avoiding lara? smart...theres no money in it...lara don't sell. when golovkin is bringing up a welterweight, with one decent win in 30 fights at the weight, its smart cause golovkin made career high payday...

when herds of golovkin fans insisted golovkins share should be more than 15 mil and close to even terms it was just "smart business"...all the amateur accountants were out then Terry!

but when welterweight cotto was parlaying that MW belt into millions with fights against Sergio, geale and canelo ...well he was a "coward"

when a 24-25 year old kid who started a WW, and had no fights at full 160, parlayed that MW belt into fights with cotto and khan(which also made millions)...he was a pansy/coward.

in a perfect world we wouldn't care about purses/shares/ a-b side...but this is part of the game now.....huey lewis said "there aint no perfect world anyway"

so make sure you go scold all the amateur accountants who crunched their numbers when defending golovkin. *****.

Canelo opponents should actually be giving GGG a huge thank you for forcing Canelo to take bad deals just so he can avoid GGG at 160.

Canelo was too small for GGG his last fight but now is fighting at 165? Fk out of here.
Avoid 160? Dumnbazzz he's never fought in that weight his entire career. He's a super welterweight who fought 1 lb over that limit simple because he could he was a big enough star that he didn't have to shed that lb against OTHER super welterweights. His last fight proved if he needed to go drop that 1 lb for a belt on the line he could. If you can make 154 and perform at a high level that's your weight class ******. He's fighting at 164 because Chavez did something GGG refuses he played the B side role was reasonable about money and AGREED to compromise in weight. Chavez and canelo fight at different weights just like GGG and canelo but unlike GGG he agreed to meet in the middle drop weight so on fight night canelo goes up Chavez goes down both are stepping out weight comfort zone to make the fight happen now.

GGG the B side demanded only canelo fight had to step outside weight comfort zone. A fight at canelo's weight or a compromise between 155 and 160 last year would of got the fight done. Instead GGG killed the fight demanding it be at 160 only when canelo has never fought at that weight. Refused to drop a single lb when his printer said he would to fight the winner of canelo/cotto and when GGG himself said 154 or 168 for a big fight. When GGG himself said I can make 154 easy when he was begging Floyd and Manny to fight him at 154. But for canelo it had tone be 160 not 155 1lb less. That was GGG phuk up

there is no need to defend golovkin. Their side isnt the one trying to deflect every other day by issuing press release after press release after press release. 99.9% of the posters here have never even seen a bout contract, but would swear on their mothers life that Golden Boys offer was a "clean" deal, because of course Oscar would never lie or deliberately mislead anyone to help paint his fighter in a better light. No, of course he would never do that. lol.
