“People talk about Golovkin being this big superstar. Why is he selling only between 100,000 and 200,000 homes?” De La Hoya said to the Los Angeles Times. “He’s no Canelo, that’s for sure.”

Obviously. But the issue is that De La Hoya is negating the fact that Canelo’s drawing power comes largely from his Mexican fan base that is stationed in the United States. Golovkin doesn’t have that built in base of fans that have national pride for him stateside. And that affects the PPV draw. De La Hoya certainly must realize that, right? - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/here-we-g....Wk5mPnd6.dpuf
Ok, and so? So Oscar should give GGG more money just because people who might be his fans live far far away in another country?

Canelo gave up the title he won from cotto at cotto's requested catchweight (sure canelo had no complaints but it was cotto's catchweight)
Canelo offers GGG teh fight at a catchweight, ggg refuses the fight reason being it was a catch weight
Canelo offers GGG the fight at the full 160lbs, ggg refuses teh fight not enough money being offered
Canelo offers GGG the fight at the full 160lbs + 15 Million Guranteee, GGG refuses teh fight says he wants a Percentage
Canelo offers GGG teh fight at teh full 160lbs Now Offers Percentage, GGG says Canelo talks too much and no longer entertainig the fight.

So you can look at Canelo giving up his belt for whatever reason as a ***** move okay I'll roll with that but canelo has tried everything to make this fight with GGG ever since and ggg is just putting up road blocks after road blocks.
Exactly. The bias spin that it's canelo fault dies each day when you look at it GGG could of had the fight last year if they dropped less lbs then what they said they could do for floyd. Then had an offer at the precious 160 that GGG wanted but it was GGG who turned it down because he wants more money. Somehow 15m wasn't enough for this idiot who is fighting for about 2m per fight. And it's not like GGG makes fights with everyone else and it's easy so you could target canelo being the odd man. No this bytch had problems with everyone ask saunders. Ask ward. The list goes on GGG is 35 and fans still asking him to make a big fight but he keeps turning them down.

You forgot the part where Oscar postponed the potential fight until September 2017. Also, what was the percentage offered to GGG?

I just came here to tell you all not to take this article too seriously, Andreas Hale writes mostly bigging up GGG. He was hired by BS to have a dedicated GGG writer from the looks of it. So far he has 5 articles bigging up GGG out of his 9 total. Take his stuff with a grain of salt, he's taken a side, which is a big no-no for a writer. Staying impartial is key.

Yeah clearly he has an agenda but it's laughable to put this out today when literally K2 getting exposed for lies first loeffler saying gomez didn't tell him if he makes a fight in June it jeopardizes Sept fight with canelo. Problem is gomez on record quoted saying he told loeffler this WEEKS ago. Then saunders releases text messages showing loeffler lying about there being no agreement before the Jacobs fight. Right now K2 has tried to kill both the canelo and saunders fight. Portraying them as the victim is laughable. They literally are turning down fights that are on the table.

Article writer doesn't even know what the percentage split being offered is but has jumped to the conclusion that De La Hoya is holding up the fight.

It wouldn't surprise me if Hale is Team GGG's crisis management leader. He doesn't even write like a journalist, that read more like a really long amatuerish post from an NSB poster like bigdramashow or jubei.

The timing is just very su****ious screams damage control because GGG has literally been killed the last few days because of the saunders debacle which looks to be going up in flames in embarrassing fashion. with all the fingers once again pointed at GGG and his handlers for being inept at making fights. So let's try and take the attention away and blame golden boy. LMAO

GGGtard writer confirmed. It's sad that there are so many bias cucks as boxing writers. This guy does seem like jubei and the rest of the asshat hype job worshipping cucks.

You shouldn't be writing articles when you're unable to hide your bias.
