It's Canelo who has backed out of every fight offer. He vacated his only title at the weight...what does that tell you? He ten moves ABOVE mw to fight someone else...what does that tell you?
Oh and of all the people claiming there was a GBP offer for 15 million dollars and that GGG or his team or both rejected it...yet there's no source of proof for either of those things. Oscar on his biggest national US interview did not mention 15 million dollars. Not once, even when he was getting roasted for being the one to force Canelo to duck GGG he didn't say a damn thing.
It's ridiculous and this **** is almost as bad as Mayweatehr ducking Pacquiao and teh same fans and their racial biases are coming into play.

No, I dont think Floyd "ducked" Margo. Why would he? Yes, it would have been an interesting fight for 3 or 4 rounds, and then Floyd would have toyed with him like a cat playing with a squeaky toy.
But Floyd chose the easier path in Baldo, which he was more than entitled to do. The only mistake he made was saying it was about the money, and then supposedly getting $1 dollar more from Goossen. That whole story line didnt pass the smell test.....

This article is a lie. Canelo is about to fight Chavez Jr.. no offer has been pulled and no contract has been signed. This is Oscar using leverage. GGG did not agree to their terms the first time. Let's threaten the purse amount that we originally offered, because his PPV numbers are low. At worst case scenario he will accept the original offer when then time is right. Make no mistakes about this, GGG v Canelo is not a 50/50 or 60/40 type of fight. To be honest, their PPV numbers suggest that this fight should be closer to 80/20 or 70/30 split.

Many non g fans said at the time that its a dumb move by ggg team to not take the gauranteed offer before his ppv flopped,& gbp ppv was a huge success. Does anyone truly believe that k2 would take these risks if it wasn't because they are trying to get as much fights & $$ in before canelo potentially crashes the hypetrain again after jacobs did? It should be obvious that ggg is trying to unify so if canelo beats him he can at least say he was a legend & unified "champ".if canelo beats him w/o g being unified then hell be laughed at for eternity as a unaccomplished hypejob.Last edited by kushking; 04-01-2017, 11:43 AM.

Also 3 of the last 6 times Canelo has fought were NOT for belts. So Canelo doesn't care for belts.
I don't think GGG does either because he could of already had Saunders belt. Saunders wanted $4 million. Loeffler said $1.5 taken it or leave it. Should of offered in the middle and I'm sure fight would of happened. So in essence GGG's dream weren't made over am additional $1-1.5 million...I know Saunders isn't worth close to that. But we're talking about dreams here.... Ibe over paid many, many times for sht I REALLY wanted.

I don't blame Oscar at all. If I were Oscar there is no way that I ever let Canelo in the ring with GGG. Golovkin will take a beating if he has to but he will kill that kid and maybe in a way that Canelo isn't the same fighter afterwards. As long as he can make 154 I'd keep him there until Golovkin is gone.
