Not really because Judah was hardly "prime." Thats the knock on Floyd...He never faced a fellow great prime for prime, African American slickster or other wise. Its a matter of opinion... to some of us its a big deal to others not so much. Corrales was excellent but hardly an ATG.

That's the point Judah wasn't special (he could have been though, he definitely had enough talent to potentially be) but he was clearly better than Jacobs. If Golovkin beat someone with Judah's speed and boxing ability then clowns like you would draw extrapolations as to how he'd also be able to beat RJJ..... scratch that! You already do that.

Sorry, but Judah wasn't special. He was exposed by Tszyu, and basically quit versus Khan, a guy who most contributors dump on here relentlessly. Whenever it was time for him to step up he got shut down. He looked lackluster. Cory Spinks and Danny Garcia shut him down, he lost to Clottey and Malignaggi who can't crack an egg. He had a flash of promise early on, but didn't have the heart or stamina to capitalize on it.

Look at the names you mentioned, bear in mind that Judah was well past it when he fought Khan and Garcia.

But other than Pirog, who else has Jacobs faced that are as good as Clottey, Khan, Garcia, Spinks, Cotto and Tszyu??? If Jacobs fought that level of competition there's a good chance he'd have a bunch of L's too. You can't point to Judah's losses when Jacobs hasn't fought anywhere near the same level of opposition.

Judah lost to baldomir a c level fighter. Jacobs lost to pirog and he says judah is better.

They are made by people that started watching the sport around the time Golovkin emerged. If you watched Judah in the early/mid 2000s I don't see how you could rate Jacobs as a better fighter. Jacobs is solid but nothing special but hey there's got to be an explanation for the fan boys as to why Golovkin didn't impress. It's obvious Jacobs is an ATG, we just couldn't see it.
