Let's face it, he lost to Baldomir, and then Floyd fights Judah coming off a loss to a flat-footed slugger.
Jacobs is not faster than Judah in any sense, whether it be fleet of hand or foot. Judah lost to Baldomir because he fought the wrong fight not because his feet weren't fast enough. Several years down the line his feet were fast enough to survive Matthysee who was much better than Baldomir in every sense of the word.

This is probably the first time an opponent gave Golovkin a dose of intelligent movement around the ring along with punches to halt his relentless march and the explanation can't be due to Golovkin's short comings, it has to be because Jacobs is the second coming of Roy Jones Jr. Jacobs isn't even as fast as he was when he fought Pirog.

Jacobs is solid but nothing special but hey there's got to be an explanation for the fan boys as to why Golovkin didn't impress. It's obvious Jacobs is an ATG, we just couldn't see it.
judah was never anything special... floyds got plenty of good wins but lets not pretend that was one of them...

That's the point Judah wasn't special (he could have been though, he definitely had enough talent to potentially be) but he was clearly better than Jacobs. If Golovkin beat someone with Judah's speed and boxing ability then clowns like you would draw extrapolations as to how he'd also be able to beat RJJ..... scratch that! You already do that.

The only way we know how good Jacobs is is when he fights again against a credible opponent.

There are tons of B- level fighters on Floyd's resume with losses but still in their prime. It would be hard to find one that had been previously knocked out in spectacular fashion and then overrated in their "prime" like Jacobs though. Why do they have to be prime though? Pacquiao is still rated higher on p4p lists even now not prime than "prime" Jacobs

Sorry, but Judah wasn't special. He was exposed by Tszyu, and basically quit versus Khan, a guy who most contributors dump on here relentlessly. Whenever it was time for him to step up he got shut down. He looked lackluster. Cory Spinks and Danny Garcia shut him down, he lost to Clottey and Malignaggi who can't crack an egg. He had a flash of promise early on, but didn't have the heart or stamina to capitalize on it.
