However guys like Gennady Golovkin are clearly much more Mongol DNA having than the typical Slav. Guys like Golovkin are monsters, unable to feel pain, have crushing power beyond any human, have inhuman physical strength and resistances to punches and are incapable of being knocked out.

Without doubt, by the standard of the above quote, Golovkin is a hype job, though the "incapable of being knocked out" part appears to be true.

Golovkin took a couple of flush shots, while moving in, from a known KO puncher who had 38 hours to rehydrate after making 160 and must have outweighed him by 15/20lbs - and he didn't appear to even feel them!

He also won the fight in the eyes of the judges and most neutral observers, and by the Compubox stats, and he put Jacobs down on the way.

So yeah, he doesn't have "crushing power beyond any human" or Danny wouldn't have got up! But GGG is the best fighter in the world at anywhere near his weight, and could soon be boxing's first unified, undisputed world champ in over 10 years.

So, if judged by normal human standards, GGG is definitely no hype job.

Jacobs needs 10 months to prepare for a fight, and he doesn't have a rematch clause, like Kovalev has with Ward, preventing GGG from fighting anyone else in the meantime.

Golovkin said he would give Danny a rematch, and I'm sure he'll honour this word. He seems like that kind of guy to me.
