Even so Glovkin still won on points due to the knockdown defense offense skill etc

But boxing is making the gayest styles superior and they are not, they a re only superior under subjective rule sets

Change the rules a bit and a new way becomes superior and who decides the rules in the first place its all subjective so we should gear it towards action entertainment realism, and damage.

    OR

MEASURE THE PUNCHING POWER BEFORE A FIGHT OF EACH FIGHTER ASSIGN A SCORE TO THE FORCE OF THE PUNCH THEN CALCULATE THE END SCORE BY PUNCHES LANDED AND THE FORCE OF THE PUNCH
While your at it, why not also take points off for blocking punches cause blocking punchings with your gloves rather then your head is gay.

Not many white men go in there and dominate a strong masculine African man as the FAR more powerful man, in a sport that is advantageous to African genes, he is a beast one hell of a beast

      • I predicted and expected an easy KO win for GGG. I haven't seen the fight. The fact that it was a close fight tells me I had GGG rated too high, I am still a big GGG fan. I will still root for him to win. Two poor showings in a row have made me lose confidence in his ability to beat any middleweight alive. He is almost 35 and past prime. I still think he can beat any middleweight in the world except Canelo. Canelo is very young and improves greatly with every fight. GGG is still a hell of a fighter but seems to be going down hill. If Canelo beats the hell out of Chavez then I'll pick him to beat GGG and Jacobs as well. With his excellent showing Jacobs is very much in the running for the world's best middleweight. That's how I see it anyway.

        • Most fighters do tends to have issues with a longer more athletic fighter with faster hands. That is always a problem. Personally I didn't feel Jacobs had it in him to really box Golovkin for 12 hard rounds but he really did. He had his lapses but they were minimal and he generally used his attributes well.

Golovkin did decently though and it was a close fight. Golovkin has shown certain limitations in the past but this was a more complete picture. He still did alright but you could see how someone just a bit more clever or a bit sharper than Jacobs with better timing with similar physical advantages (or maybe just some of them) would be his undoing. Not just any dude would beat him though that person is going to have to put in a real effort because Jacobs really did come correct tonight he just needed to separate himself a bit more.

When you are in the ring you can sometimes feel when a fighter can ring your bell if you expose yourself too much, to me that is what GGG was going through in there for the first time.

You have to also take into consideration that GGG had a significant hand speed disadvantage. When they were exchanging Jacobs was actually getting the better of it. GGG's advantage was his timing is better than Jacobs, that is where his success was coming, that and the jab, which was also about his timing. So naturally he was trying to pick his spots, he did try and force the fight at times but sometimes he would miss wildly or Jacobs would tie him up, and tonight was also the first time GGG fought someone who was strong enough to effectively tie him up.

There was a lot of things going on in there, the part I agree with you is the body attack. He head hunted a bit too much, but then again if you observe Jacobs when he had his guard up his elbows were covering nearly everything, there was not a lot of target. I also noticed that when GGG did throw some body work, Jacobs would start winging hooks to the head.

It was tough in there, not as easy it as it looks for sure. I like your term that Jacobs pacified him, thats exactly what happened. It was stylistically tough for both guys, Jacobs paid for his lapses in concentration. I thought it could have gone either way.
GGG was swinging and missing like Canelo vs. Lara lol

It was a good fight to watch because GGG hasn't been in a true chess match until now. The second fight turned into a slug-fest, and I'm satisfied that the main event played out more methodically. I'm hoping that we get to see it again this year, after GGG gets the WBO belt. In the interim, I wouldn't mind seeing Jacobs vs. N'Dam or Eubank.

There are a lot of tall LMWs that could probably replicate some of the things that Jacobs dod, but whether they can absorb the punishment for 12 rounds is another story. If Andrade was further along in his career, then maybe he'd already be a potentially great opponent for GGG.

It is just tough to say, I think Lara would be a big problem he is smaller but he has that discipline and will do his thing even if he is rather basic.

Golovkin can counter punch so guys who have lapses are worrisome, a bigger guy like DeGale might be able to handle the lapses alright but guys coming up I need to see them actually handle it.

Lara's repetitive offense, lack of combination punching and over-reliance on movement could get him in trouble against GGG. He'll probably stun GGG a few times because his straights are blistering when he wants them to be, but I think he'll need to stand his ground much more than he's used to, and it would deplete his gas tank. I imagine Lara's favorite combo, the 1-2-1, getting countered eventually.
