These type of purses is why GGG said $2 mil is a lowball. I don't understand how he can now say $15 mil isn't fair. I think it's K2 trying to get more of the action. I've asked this question several times but no one has answered. With GGG turning down $15 mil for a bigger split who stands to make more money on the fight, K2 or GGG?

You got GGG last week being asked about the offer and saying what offer I haven't seen any send me one I'll sign it AFTER this own promoter/trainer are already on record admitting one was sent and this being in the news for about 6 months. I firmly believe GGG ain't seen nothing has no details and is just a K2 puppet. He is not in control over his career which is why he sounds bat shyt crazy whenever he is asked a question. Listen to how Canelo talks and it's clear he calls shots and has firm grasp about the business and details. GGG needs to fire K2 or grow some balls and take control over his career. Some notable boxing writers are saying that Jacobs is getting around 3 million and Golovkin more, plus ppv. Commission purses are almost never accurate for main event guys.

Who is the more known fighter? Khan easily. So both fighters pretty much get paid the same money and their opponents too.

Well thats the thing. Tom is well known for not doing deals via public exchanges cuz like I said he's a professional & respectful guy unlike 90% of the people in the boxing business. I don't deny there are some serious limitations being a boxing promoter without acting like you are in pro wrestling in 2016, but thats the type of guy Tom is for better or worse.

What I do know is GBP has a different story or angle they are working every other month concerning GGG vs Canelo making them less reliable in my eyes cuz every thing they do seems based on spin controlling something that has hurt their product, Canelo, appeal & popularity.

Plus $15M/Gtd is hitting the lottery for GGG & Tom & I can't believe they would turn down a fair contract for that amount for a PPV that will likely just hit 1M PPV's (or just miss it), but not be some sort of super PPV windfall of profit for all parties.

Loeffler had no issues going public with the talks for the Chavez Jr fight, a hoped for Carl Froch fight, or the brief Ward talks, so not sure why this is different, tbh. And he wouldn't even have to cut a wrestling promo either; simply acknowledge the offer, and mention the deal points that are still contentious.

Ignoring what Oscar has said, it seems pretty clear that Alvarez wants the fight, he's given Golden Boy the clear to offer a package that he's willing to pay to make the fight, and the offer has been sent to K2 (for them to accept of reject).

Alvarez focuses on getting ready for the Chavez Jr fight in May, and if Golovkin chooses to walk away, he and Golden Boy will re-asses their options after the fight, Alvarez will show what he's willing to pay to finance certain fights, and they'd move on towards September with the best fight they can make.

Jacobs is the only reason the fight took so long, his trainer claimed he needed 3 months to prepare him for GGG. Maybe he was cycling off, maybe not, who knows but blaming GGG? ******ed.

While GGG has had problems with Jacobs, Canelo, Ward, Froch, and the list goes on and on. You name a big fight GGG has been attached to for the last 5 years and none got made. That's on K2 it can't ALWAYS be someone else's fault when the someone else keeps changing and problems making fight for GGG keep emerging. We see the purses now and they don't justify GGG losing out on 2 payday through March. That's just a bad job by K2 no matter how you spin it and one of many questionable moves by K2 like refusing to take a 15m offer. So you are accusing Loeffler of lying to GGG and deny a totally "fair offer" for a BINDING GUARANTEED SEPTEMBER 2017 FIGHT that would make GGG $15 Million?
