I don't think it was HBO holding this fight up I think K2 was being cheap and squabbling with Jacobs over crumbs like I been saying all year. GGG has pure amateurs running his career. Could of just taken a few less nickles and got the fight done and kept the Dec date and then fought again in March. 2 fights worth AT LEAST 2m each, 4m total. Or bumping heads with Haymon for months being cheap only to fight once in the same time frame for 2.5m? Now they got 15m offer on the table and his promoter is talking about staging a June fight which they already confirmed will NOT be on PPV to try and squeeze a second fight in putting Canelo Sept fight at risk. Amateur hour with K2. Haymon or any real promoter would NEVER sign another fight for peanuts when they have deal like this out there. They would wait till Canelo/Cotto is over and sign as quick as they can.Comment

These type of purses is why GGG said $2 mil is a lowball. I don't understand how he can now say $15 mil isn't fair. I think it's K2 trying to get more of the action. I've asked this question several times but no one has answered. With GGG turning down $15 mil for a bigger split who stands to make more money on the fight, K2 or GGG?Comment

Jacobs is the only reason the fight took so long, his trainer claimed he needed 3 months to prepare him for GGG. Maybe he was cycling off, maybe not, who knows but blaming GGG? ******ed.

If some BS fine print was in the offer, why not go to the boxing media, let the boxing world know what nonsense Golden Boy was trying to pull, and then let the HBO boxing media machine drum up the negative stories?
Stevenson-Kovalev, Kovalev-Ward, Mayweather-Pacquiao, and a host of other fights were all media shamed on less.

The offer appears to always been 15m. The first time they said they made an offer they said it was 8 figures they didn't give the full amount and everyone just assumed ok it's 10m. Later on they clarified it was 15m. And until K2 comes out and says it's a lie everyone will keep looking at GGG like a clown. Fighting for 2.5m and acting like 15m isn't enough? Even Abel the loud mouth bytch who talks about everything refuses to deny the offer is real or the amount. Both he and Tom admit that the Golden Boy sent them an offer. We know Canelo/Golden Boy weren't lying about their offer to Chavez. Even though for weeks everyone said they were then Chavez signed and out his own mouth said he making the same amount that was leaked about month earlier. Chavez didn't get a penny more as Golden Boy played hardball. Chavez agreed to half the amount GGG has on the table. Based on these purses even if Canelo offered a penny more then Chavez is getting he should of signed let alone DOUBLE. Chavez making 6-7m when GGG and Jacobs combined making 4.25m LMAOComment

i see people contiunue to say they offered ggg 15 million over an over as if thats a fact... we just did the same thing with the ggg-jacobs fight. ggg offered jacobs 3 million and he turned it down! turned out that wasn't true so why don't we learn from our past mistakes and stop pretending we know what the offers are? your argument is k2 hasn't disputed it! probably because it was a rumor. and at first it was 10 mill and now its 15. so one of them has to be wrong if not both. we get it you hate ggg.Comment
