I'm not sure, but K2 really needs to call GBP out on their bluff. Just accept the $15mill offer. They should've been done that, because it's BS imo.
With that said, since K2 doesn't call their bluff and accept the possible bogus offer of $15mill, it leads me to question how badly they really want the fight.
GGG isn't going to see $15 mill if they insist on a cut of the PPV and it ends up being 60-40 or 65-35. Canelo is the one who will take $15 mill from PPV (probably $23-25mill in total with all source of income for the fight), GGG somewhere around $10 and $12-13mill in total.
If he was offered 1 penny more then the deal that Chavez got which is guarantee 6m he needs to take it. Chavez making more then GGG and jacobs combined including the entire undercard. Everyone here said they were lying with their offer for Chavez for weeks when Chavez signed after he realized the offer wouldn't go up he admitted to making the same amount that was reported a month earlier. K2 refuses to come out and say the offer from golden boy isn't real. Until k2 says otherwise I am going by these numbers. Too many loud mouths from that side that have had no problems speaking out. They quiet because they know the offer is real and look like fools demanding more when GGG can't draw for shyt and has no plan B big fights. When GGG/Jacobs figures and canelo/Chavez figures come out that 15m offer might be coming down.

How many buys do you honestly think gg Jacobs does?
I've been saying it since the beginning, it's too much money. People's response is always PPV money is gonna be ridiculous and they could afford it, but I don't think people open up their calculators and do the math. They also overestimate what Canelo-GGG will do in PPV. Canelo-Cotto was the far more popular PPV and it did 900k buys, Canelo-GGG will fall just short of that, maximum 600-750k.
So idk where GBP will get that money. I've been saying it since they first came up with that flat fee offer, if it's true, idk what K2/GGG are waiting for to at least accept to call their bluff if it's false, or just accept if it's true because that's too money to pass up. He won't make that much from getting a cut of the final PPV buys.
Only scenario I can think of is that GBP thinks Canelo will get so much money from sponsors, live gate and other TV deals from Mexico that they are okay with giving GGG a big chunk of the PPV revenue. An unrealistic chunk. Because $15mill would be the lion's share of 750k PPV (roughly 61-62% if PPV rev is $24,375,000 [750k*$65 = $48,750,000/2). I'm not 100% on how promoters get all the money for fight purses, but $15mill just seems off. Seems like too much.
you just like doing fan fiction. you have zero information about purses, ppv buys, splits, etc...yet you made all that up lol and what a surprise you got the outcome that you wanted. a shocking turn.
