i see people contiunue to say they offered ggg 15 million over an over as if thats a fact... we just did the same thing with the ggg-jacobs fight. ggg offered jacobs 3 million and he turned it down! turned out that wasn't true so why don't we learn from our past mistakes and stop pretending we know what the offers are? your argument is k2 hasn't disputed it! probably because it was a rumor. and at first it was 10 mill and now its 15. so one of them has to be wrong if not both. we get it you hate ggg.

The money disclosed to the NYSAC has the guaranteed money split 59/41 Golovkin, with no mention of any possible share split on the PPV (with Haymon negotiating the terms, on a fight that was set for open bid, I'm fairly certain that he was able to also get Jacobs a piece of the PPV money). Whatever Jacobs' total package ends up being worth is still unknown, but he starts off the whole thing with a $1.75m check heading his way after the fight.

Jacobs is the reason why negotiations were a pain and dragged on for months even though Jacobs has no history of being difficult to deal with? While GGG has had problems with Jacobs, Canelo, Ward, Froch, and the list goes on and on. You name a big fight GGG has been attached to for the last 5 years and none got made. That's on K2 it can't ALWAYS be someone else's fault when the someone else keeps changing and problems making fight for GGG keep emerging. We see the purses now and they don't justify GGG losing out on 2 payday through March. Dude seriously you comparing his little deals to Canelo? Notice I said major sponsors. Tecate paid to make Canelo the official spokesman for the company something no other athlete has been for Tecate. They air national commercials with Canelo in it during programming that has NOTHING to do with boxing and on non sports channels. Not just in Mexico either these air in the US. I have NEVER seen a GGG commercial for anything but I know Tecate pays Canelo more and I never heard about any significant money he makes from sponsors. I doubt he makes seven figures for anything outside a fight check.

Alvarez's guarantee was what it was, but Alvarez owns the Mexico TV deal, and his company's relationship with Golden Boy is a deal where his final take is 80% of the US money (after costs), on a fight that ended up selling over $5m at the live gate, and clearing another $10m off of the PPV (after giving the distributors/HBO their share).

If you really believe that Alvarez only got $3.5m on the Liam Smith fight, you're a fool.

Alvarez controls his events; if his 80% of the take deal ends up with him getting $100m, so be it; Alvarez has the proven business history to get that demand.

The information is likely a pain to hunt down, but there's no source (outside of maybe Golovkin's endorsement deal with Jordan brand and his Kazakh sponsorship) where Golovkin, or anyone close to Golovkin, is at the forefront of a boxing business deal involving Golovkin.
