The unified champ won 1 title in the ring and the others given to him and hasn't beat anyone as good as Cotto. Is that better?

Compare any list of org champs against a list of lineal champs in the same division and tell me which list is better.

Take any lists of the orgs champions for a division and compare it with the lineal that the majority of boxing fans agree with. Tell me which represents who was the divisions champions better.
Organizational rankings aren't a better judge of "who's the best" - but I haven't said a word about organizational rankings, so you need to stop clutching.

Once again, you're skipping over the point, but we are making progress. At least you're finally admitting that lineal is a concept that isn't agreed with by everyone.

All interpretations of "the rules" of a lineal champ are just that, interpretations. There may be a consensus on the majority of rules, but no one is right or wrong with the variances, because there is no higher power to say what is right or wrong.

It's opinion based, not fact based. You can't tell me #1 v #2 is fact based - it's not. It's an opinion based on the information people have in front of them.

My thing is if their is no lineal title in a division then how do you become lineal these days without becoming Undisputed first?

These days you hear how this fighter won the Lineal title this many times in this many divisions or that fighter who the lineal title this many times?

Can we all agree that lineal is pretty much a useless title unless that fighter becomes undisputed first to start a new lineage?
Poor guy still hasn't got a clue.

If he beats Jacobs, yup, when you add that to Macklin, Geale, Rubio, Murray , Lemeiux

taken together, its much better than beating an aging Cotto, Kirkland & a welterweight. Take off your Canelo Underoos, and you would see it. And also, ignore all the belts. Just look at the fighters, and make a judgement.

And worthy of being crowned the new MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION of the world.

All ratings and rankings are opinion base. If we really want to go the "fact" road then there can be no real champion of any division unless a fighter fights everyone in the division. It's all opinion.

Watched since 1981 and don't know what lineal is.
