Trinidad best Joppy two win Joppys belt and Hopkins unified with Keith Holmes to win the other belts, so Hopkins met up and beat Trinidad to win all the belts and become the undisputed middleweight champ and in turn become lineal. Easy it figure out.

How about in other divisions. when an undisputed Champion hasn't happen in decades. People say Manny was linael in multiple division and the same as Floyd and other fighters, how?

When the lineal is vacant the 1# and #2 is determined by fans and experts yes. If it's debatable who is the 2 best fighters in the division people do disagree if a fight is for the lineal. Usually most agree who is 1 and 2 though.


If you'd rather be told who is the champ by orgs who only care about making money who is their champion you're a fool.

I've been watching boxing since '81 and I have never heard that fans and experts determine the linael title.
