Ironically and unfortunately for Stevens' health, seems to all have been orchestrad to match up Nelo with Lemeiux as a potential candidate for Sept. We can tell this because Lemeiux wasn'the gun ho for the Gennady rematch when Max asked. So something is happening behind the scenes. Consider even Lemeiux vs Saunders as something Warren and Oscars might have been working on.

It''s a decent defense for BJS to consider and less dangerous than fighting Golovkin. If by chance Lemeiux were to steal a WBO strap then oh boy do GBP have many options to play with. In fact that might be the road for Nelo to acquire it too. I would rather have UK backing for Alvarez vs BJS. Better numbers imo.

I have Jacobs beating Gennady because I believe in life changing moment's and a realist. If you know anyone who had an ill aggressive form of cancer you'd empathize. Maybe you don't know a lot of people in general, but my cit has 20 million people. Beating cancer and to win these straps if what everybody should believe in.

How is Lemieux smart by not doing what he agreed to do? How is Stevens dumb for doing what he agreed to do?

Lemieux was smart for simply dismissing a title he didn't care about. Stop trying to reword things to assume nefarious intent. Why bother with a requirement for a title you don't care about?

And I didn't call Stevens "dumb", I said he wasn't smart. Not the same thing. A smart fighter would have made sure everything was equal ground before agreeing to a fight - including rehydration rules regardless of titles. His failure to do that wasn't smart.

Just like Marquez wasn't smart to allow Floyd to essentially drain him with higher weight requirements.
