Now that was better. Here is to hoping your boxing acumen raises to the level of that one comeback that was actually good. Bravo.

If Ward retires without fighting the rematch with Kovalev, he can kiss good-bye to any positive legacy what-so-ever.

He'll be called a diva coward for the rest of his life. Ward would hate that. It would be better to take the rematch and get knocked out than to retire.

People have a right to be pissed off at those tweets.... especially if you thought Kovalev won.

I just hope the rematch happens soon enough, I don't know what Ward had to endure in negotiations for the build up of the first fight but I don't think it's worth him being purposely difficult for the rematch negotiations. The fact is he didn't clearly win, Kovalev could have just as easily got the nod. This sort of posturing doesn't make sense when the vast majority thought you lost.

Ward is one of my favourites and I thought he won (barely) but when he acts this way you can easily see why he would garner hate.

It was a close fight and alot of people felt you were lucky to get the victory , now do the decent and be a man of your word and signature and just give kovalev the chance to make it 1-1.....any ward fan who don't agree with what i have just wrote ....you don't have a fighting code and you lack morals...simple

well I am a Ward fan, so I can comment.....

you are correct, I don't have a problem with your post

Ward could/should, AND OBVIOUSLY WILL, rematch Kovalev

                1) it always was - and still currently is - clearly obvious that Ward will rematch Kovalev..... that is plainly obvious dude

Ward is a man of integrity, and a student of the sport, so insinuating anything to the contrary OBVIOUSLY indicates an alternative agenda

where folks - maybe you, not sure - went wrong..... is ASSUMING that Ward was not a man of integrity, and that the rematch was in doubt

Ward OBVIOUSLY wants recognition..... and if you guys could all run around a little and kiss his ass, that would also be great..... no tongue required, don't get grubby, just a little peck will do

Ward didn't play you guys, you played yourselves

it is clearly obvious whats up, unless you have an agenda

                2) they booked the Mandalay for a reason..... I know what that reason is, because once again..... it is clearly fkn obvious

                stop playing yourself

Ward and his 12 fans are just fooling around, smelling the roses, and enjoying the shine..... and yet, everyone else is crying a river LMAO

FACT: there is a TON of vagina on display in this thread

you made a childish assumption, most likely caused by an excess buildup of sand around the genital area..... just like the guys who ran around saying that Ward would duck Kovalev the first time

did Ward reserve the Mandalay so he had somewhere comfy to watch the Kovalev/Stevenson fight on big-screen?

stop crying, it is clearly obvious the rematch will happen

how about a harmless sig bet..... ?

for 1 full year, anything boxingscene-legal is fair..... you must ONLY use the winners sig-of-choice, NO additional comments

                  ..... you in ?

go on, let me make you a Ward fan, I will think up a doozy
