Ward has every right to end his career when and how he pleases, but if he walks away now he'd just be a footnote in the history of boxing, and a lot of people would be left wondering how great he could have been.

If the answer is not that great, then maybe best to retire now. Though you're not making millions in retirement, what to do? Ideally fight Paul Smith for 2m but might not be an option anymore

Why is it so hard for the folks involved (and the public at large, for that matter) to stand tall and say "Andre Ward won the fight, but we want the rematch"?

That simple admission, from Duva, Kovalev, JDJ, Dan Rafael, etc, will go a long way towards the rematch that everyone wants to harp about having to happen.

Andre Ward is the champion, and should be treated as such in the negotiations.

record books will always show a win over Kovalev. was it close? yes..just because a fight is close does that mean it's an automatic robbery? of course not.
