He will get him once they sort out the purse bid. I don't believe he's afraid of Jacobs. I never believed he was afraid of Ward. That was on Loeffler. He didn't want the fight. He's trying to cash GGG out against the highest bidder. Ward didn't bring enough money to lose to. Chavez jr & Froch does. I know all promoters weigh risk vs reward but Loeffler takes it to laughable levels.

I don't think that he is afraid of Ward either, but I definitely think that he "avoided" that fight just as much - if not more - than Loeffler did.

Golovkin definitely has the final say in all decisions made by his team, including Loeffler and Sanchez..... such as opponents, dates, financials, details, etc.

Golovkin could have countermanded every single decision made by every member of his team..... other than some training/camp details up at big bear. There are some things that Sanchez won't debate, even with Golovkin..... and that is fair enough, even if he is incorrect.

thats not entirely true. Haymon could cut a side deal with Jacobs where if say Haymon won the bid for $5 million, which would be split $3.75 million to GGG and $1.25 million to Jacobs, Haymon could just give Jacobs another million on the side to take the fight.

Of course legally he would not be obligated to do that, but if thats what it took to make the fight he certainly could do that if he wanted to.

I agree, this has to happen. All we heard about a bunch of fights this was "maybe in 2017". Well 2017 is coming and these fights need to come to fruition.
