Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin's Promoter on Facing Jacobs, Canelo, Chavez Jr.
Tom Loeffler, promoter of WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs), is looking forward to a big 2017 for his fighter. [Click Here To Read More]
When GGG moves on from this BS negotiation, then all the articles will come out from Jacobs on how he wants to fight GGG, not sure what the issue is this 75/25 is not new to boxing. Brooklyn boxing is home of the paper belts.
He will get him once they sort out the purse bid. I don't believe he's afraid of Jacobs. I never believed he was afraid of Ward. That was on Loeffler. He didn't want the fight. He's trying to cash GGG out against the highest bidder. Ward didn't bring enough money to lose to. Chavez jr & Froch does. I know all promoters weigh risk vs reward but Loeffler takes it to laughable levels.
For all those who have no clue: Tom is working for GGG not the other way around - they have co-promotion and GGG makes ultimate decisions.
And those who blame it on Tom for always talking good about GGG opponents - if you can't convince a girl for a date because she is afraid of you, your buddy won't talk **** to that girl to completely ruin chances. Tom is GGG's wing and Jacobs is that pus*y.
what they dont tell you is all the catchweights they try to opose. They like you to believe they offer froch the fight lol but what they omitted that it was for 164, they offered ward the fight at 164, they refuse canelo at a catchweight but had no problem facing rosado at a catchweight.
... where has Daniel Jacobs ever said that he'd back out of the fight if it went to bid?
Beyond that, why do folks continue to act as if DiBella Entertainment couldn't host Golovkin-Jacobs on PPV, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, in March/April?
