they never mentioned Jacobs until the WBA forced the mando

it is clearly obvious to all but a few handful of tards that they are more than happy to pass on this fight LMAO

Geez, don't want to give Jacobs more than 25% so no fight. Don't want to accept 10 million plus PPV upside vs Canelo so no fight. GGG is one entitled mofo.

Bigger star, what the hell is that based on? Haymon has a lot of 'hype jobs' just like Baby G who make almost 2 mil a fight. Can you say Broner, probably not because he has fought better competition. Can you think of a time when Broner had to go to purse bid? Says a lot.

Like I said it's a 'mom and pop' promotion company.

What sense is there for Jacobs to vacate, when his camp is in position to set what they think the market value of the fight is and see if K2 is willing to top it?

The math isn't all that difficult. What is it worth to DiBella to bring Golovkin-Jacobs to Barclays Center in Brooklyn? What is Golovkin-Jacobs worth on PPV? what would the sponsors for a fight in Brooklyn look like for Golovkin-Jacobs? what would the international TV rights (UK, Germany, Mexico, Canada) be worth for Golovkin-Jacobs?

project the revenues out, put together a bid that matches the revenues you project, and then see what K2 thinks the fight is worth.

At last! Let's see who really wants the fight! Is it K2/HBO or DiBella/Showtime? Men lie, women lie, numbers never lie! Will Jacobs fold and run if K2 wins the purse bid? Will K2/GGG pull a Main Events/Kovalev move, and hide behind their HBO deal like they did with Adonis Stevenson? This is about to be very interesting! This should've happened a long time ago!

Jacobs only drew 8,000 fans to the Barclays center for that "Battle of Brooklyn" fight with Peter Quillin. And this is in their HOMETOWN!!! Ratings for that fight were really low too. So just exactly what negotiating leverage does Jacobs have? Does he wanna prove himself against the best or not?
Golovkin-Jacobs is selling out Barclays Center, Golovkin-Jacobs is going to draw a massive site fee (likely PPV, tbh), and both fighters have profiles in NYC.

there's more interest in the fight than simply resigning the fight to HBO, lol.
