K2 is a promoter with a single fighter and all the time in the world. Why would he only have 8 week notice to talk to someone? He could have been talking to various people since even before the Brook fight if he wanted to.

Jacobs wants to be a king just as much as Canelo, or pretends to want to be a king just as much as Canelo pretends. Canelo situation proves that forcing someone to vacate or giving them extra pretend time to negotiate makes no difference for when that fighter will fight GGG.

And you continue to fail to acknowledge GGG could have taken an interim fight simply by requesting it.
He could have, but then he'd be obliged to allow for a Jacobs interim fight. And Jacobs is not fighting Ggg in 3 months, heck they admitted they were never ready for December date cause they need a 12 week camp. And that's where you can blame them, they should have said that before wasting a month in negotiations.

I just don't get your point. You complain about his weak resume. He tries hard to bolster it with a quality mando defense, and you're complaining about him not fighting more no names and putting this off.

No complaints from me, Its just funny that you are too ****** to understand anything lol! If GGG canelo doesnt happen GGG clearly has more to lose. Boss life though

Why are you lying? That's all you do here, come here to blame Ggg for the other guys ducking.

Look dumba$$, Canelo has been annointed as the face of boxing way back. He can't be that while ducking such a dominant, popular champ and waiting him out. He can't be losing face all the time, trying to dodge the biggest fight in boxing

        • This is what happens when 2 B sides get together and try and make a fight. Neither wants to admit they are the B side and nothing happens. I think Jacobs drops the belt after a purse bid is officially made.

So you think Jacobs is a coward for rejecting a near 2 million offer?

Poor effort, as usual. A side is relative, dummy. And here there's a clear a side. The belts, the mando split, the ratings and gate numbers, all one sided.

No, he wouldn't. You're acting as if Jacobs has some ungodly amount of leverage here. The guy who is wiling the pull the purse bid trigger is the guy with the leverage. It was Jacob's idea to delay the fight by 3 months, and Golovkin should hold them to that. Simple as that. Jacobs gets to delay the fight slightly in exchange for letting GGG have an interim fight. That would be the deal. If they don't agree, force purse bid and strip Jacobs because they were never serious.

I'm responding to general sentiment of "oh poor Golovkin, evil WBA and Jacobs is wasting GGG's time." And I'm also confused why Loeffler, a guy unique in his strategy to keeping fighters active (a strategy I support), is suddenly turning is back on that for a Jacobs caliber fighter especially when it was completely unnecessary. And I'm confused why you, a guy who supported the strategy, is suddenly throwing every excuse not to stick with it.

It's team Jacobs that requested an interim fight lol. Team Ggg didn't want interim fights. How can they ask for interim fight after denying Jacobs? And now it's Jacobs caliber fighter, but you were just trying to draw some silly Jacobs Canelo analogy. You're trying too hard. I'm guessing it's some Lara angle?

WBA would approve it as long as both sides are in agreement. You know that.

The most annoying thing about talking with you is always questions's people motivation. Can't have an earnest conversation with you. If there's some disagreement, I must be a paid shill or something. I didn't bring up Lara or imply Lara exactly because I didn't want to have that conversation again.

My point was about fighter activity, and fighter activity alone. If GGG can't stick with, what hope does everyone else have?

So team Jacobs would agree on an interim fight for Ggg but not for them?

You were saying they should have him stripped and then have some protracted negotiations and loose long term commitments with Jacobs (the next face of boxing), Canelo style, then dismissed Jacobs as a nobody worth giving up a Korobov date for.

Hey I didn't say paid shill, not to you at least. Maybe you just like the guy a lot. Kinda like me being a Ggg fan, just with much less to be excited about.
