Jacobs doesn't have fans. That's the problem. One team deals with reality the other lives in fantasy world.

It seems best case scenario nowadays we get two fighters to agree to fight each other a year down the line with a few mismatches in between. And then people wonder why boxing is losing fans.

75-25 is no BS, is what the rules say. plus this isn't as big of a fight as some wanna make it to be. jacobs shouldn't get more than 2 millions, he isn't worth it

GGG biggest test? Laughable.... Would b a repeat of Pirog Ko!! Haymon fighters R over hyped and over paid...GGG sells out venues coast to coast and even has a large Hispanic fanbase..Jacobs fights in a half-empty venue in his hometown and relegated to Spike TV.

Unlike Jacobs who is fine fighting Mora in Reading PA and concedes Ggg is the Man, Canelo thinks of himself as the best fighter in the world, and boxing #1 superstar
If Jacobs doesn't want to fight GGG at all, this whole negotiation is a waste of time because it's not gonna happen regardless.

If Jacobs was the super champion, he would have a lot to lose, but he isn't. Losing a kiddie version of the WBA means nothing. Not fighting GGG while keeping the Kiddie WBA belt would be as equally embarrassing as vacating while not fighting GGG. It's the fact that he would duck GGG, not the Kiddie WBA belt that matters in fan's perspective.

None of this explains why it makes sense for GGG to put everything on hold for Jacobs. Jacobs is not a highly coveted fighter. Jacobs is not popular. Jacobs has never been in a fight that has had more than 600k viewers in ratings. GGG is losing money by skipping a third fight this year for Jacobs alone in April.

The only explanation is that GGG is now a two fight per year fighter by choice.

What p4p list do U look at??? Currently #2 p4p per ESPN!!! Taylor chinny and stamina issues...pavlik slow feet and hands... GGG has easy time with both.

because he doesnt have a choice. The WBA ordered him to face Jacobs next. He is not able to take an interim fight. If he does, then he would get stripped....
