Crucial point is he didn't win all of it. Kovalev won 10 & 12 clearly for me. Pretty much won most of the first half too..

I think truth is if we are to take all the collective thought then neither man really separated themselves from each other, but overall over 12 full rounds i think Kovalev was more dominant, higher accuracy, more damage & was the fighter who won the rounds that were CLEARLY his more dominantly. Ward stole a few..

Under these circumstances it is unreasonable of you to suggest that any opinion other than yours means irrationality & unknowing of the sport.

kovalev held ward 54 times in the first fight so i guess he will go for 70 clinches in the 2nd fight!!!

I thought Kovalev won the fight. I had picked Ward by UD going into it- but I was thinking a comfortable 8 rounds to 4 type of margin.

Kovalev got the knockdown and I figured 7 rounds to him and 5 to Ward.

That said- I think a rematch actually favors Ward because of the type of fighter he is. I think Ward may win a rematch the way I expected him to win this first fight. He had a terrible start in this fight, he only looked like himself starting about round 7.

They need to immediately rematch. There is no reason not to. I hope they don't screw around and cause any delay. The rematch is going to be a much bigger fight, definitely the biggest fight either can make right now.

Boxing industry people from America like Harold Lederman, Larry Merchant and Stephen A. Smith had Kovalev winning.

And? That's what happens with a close fight, you end up with knowledgeable people falling on opposite sides of the line.

The fact is that Kovalev started off strong and even got a knockdown...but by the end of the night many unbiased observers STILL felt Andre Ward had won.

That just goes to show how tight some of those rounds were and that there is a range of scores that would be fair and reasonable.

The decision was no robbery.

Nah, not at all. Been watching boxing for long, i knew Ward could get knocked down or knocked out. I was dissapointed with Kovalev's performance over the rounds, engaging Ward in his fight.

well kov clearly won 10, landed more and landed the best punches so if you cant see that i dont know what to say and how in the world did ward win 12? it makes no sense. what are you watching? kov landed more punches than ward. does that not matter? also kov prob landed the 2 best punches of the round as well. a left to the body that doubled ward over in pain and a counter right that landed flush on ward's face and froze him for a second. why would ward win 12? you prob think ward won round 3 as well because he landed one good jab and a couple other mediocre shots while ignoring that kov landed a 3 punch combo on ward's face along with many other jabs and punches.
