Kovalev was fatigued from missing punches, wrestling and Ward's body work. If he had the energy to keep his foot on the gas he would've.

When a coach calls it straight, it means there's a chance for correction. When Pac lost to May, I was glad to see Freddy saying that he didn't think Manny won.

Jackson at least knows not to let Sergey become complacent again. Whether Kovalev will listen is anyone's guess.

You know what they say, great minds think alike. If Kovalev did get to laxed in there then part of the blame you should on him for the same reason we talked about before, not putting some sense of urgency in his fighter. At least to me, it didnt seem like he did.

EDIT: Which reminds me that I only saw JDJ talked to Kovalev in round 1 and/or 2 and the rest of the time it was just the Russian dude talking while JDJ just looked at him.
