Of all the actual boxing people (fighters, trainers, etc), it seems to be pretty split. If not slightly in Ward's favor.

The writers, most of whom haven't fought, Kovalev has the edge.

As for the fans, of course they side with Kovalev. He's the more popular fighter. And anyone watching that fight with a strong rooting interest probably saw a pretty decisive win for their guy. I scored it 117-110 for Kovalev once. And 117-111 once for Ward. I'm sure most with strong rooting interest had similar scores.
